"the Democratic Vice Presidential nominee, whose often-repeated invitation to learn about John Kerry by speaking to the men who served with him begins the advertisement...."
Hmmm, the Manchurian mole in the Kerry campaign, or just a Hillary plant?

I have the credentials: U.S. Navy Seaman, In-Country 20MAY69/20MAY70, assigned as LCM Boatdriver on Long Tau River (Saigon River), Awarded Combat Action Ribbon, Patient, 93rd Evac, Long Binh 01NOV69/24NOV70, front row center at Bob Hope Xmas show at Long Binh, discharged from hosp. and assigned to light duty in Saigon where I stayed till DEROS.
I could've got a Purple Heart and I could've been sent on to Japan instead of those very hard 24 days at the 93rd Evac. The doctor gave me the option , but I believed he could do the job and I didn't want anything to break up my tour.
So, Kerry has reached me with his tar brush. He did it so long ago and believe me when I say it was like INCOMING and as the years passed, occasional remarks from his believers were yet more INCOMING ROSE THORNS that make my happy ass mad!
If anyone has a suggestion on my slogan, banner, statement...whatever it winds up being, pass it along to me.
I'm kind of chomping at the bit on this. Times ah wasting and it's time to saddle up.
Is it true that the swift boat veterans against Kerry are funded by the Republican party??? If so it is gonna hurt their credibility.
"John Kerry lied about ME"
That's BS.
Had my doubts as to whether or not they would return fire in this war. Now that they have, I sent them 25.00 to help cover the cost of Ammunition.
God Bless boys and keep shootin.
Pithy and to the point!
The Christmas in Cambodia story of John Kerry was repeated as recently as July 7, 2004 by Michael Kranish, a principal biographer of Kerry from The Boston Globe. On the Hannity & Colmes television show, Kranish indicated that Kerry's Christmas in Cambodia was a critical turning point in Kerry's life.
FOX HANNITY & COLMES
July 7, 2004 Wednesday
HEADLINE: Is Kerry Hiding Dark Secrets?
GUESTS: Michael Kranish, Nina Easton
BYLINE: Sean Hannity, Alan Colmes
(snip)
HANNITY: You know, does he have a moral core? Is he somebody that will do anything for political expediency, to satisfy some political ambition?
KRANISH: Sean, I don't know if it's -- that's a question that obviously some of the critics will raise. And I think what's fair to look at is how he was affected by Vietnam.
He himself would say that you really have to look at a lot of his thought process as what was happening during Vietnam. And in one short anecdote I'll tell you, that in Christmas of 1968, he was on a small boat with his men, basically in Cambodia at a time when Richard Nixon was telling the American public that we're not in Cambodia.
And he basically became skeptical. Well, the government is saying this, but he knew himself that wasn't true. And it's also why he says he came back to protest the war that he had served in.
HANNITY: Well, Michael...
KRANISH: So, from his perspective, and he's trying to -- I think what he would say a little bit -- I can't speak for him obviously -- is that, you know, you look at a situation, very traumatic and sometimes you change your mind.
And clearly in Vietnam, when he volunteered, he served, came back to lead the protest.(snip)
Great suggestion!
I thought so, so the next time I hear that from someone I'll challenge them to provide references.
Kranish doesn't seem to know that President Nixon wasn't inaugurated until January 20, 1969.
They keep repeating the same lie.
Oh, gosh. No kidding! It's almost as if I have 12 years worth of pent-up frustration, sitting here watching the Republicans wimping out under the DNC's lies and deceptions because of those stolen FBI files.
This makes me want to donate to these guys. Does anyone know the best way to do that?
BTTT
Bump!
I didn't mean to belittle Flowers or others who accused Clinton, or to suggest that they lacked determination. I agree that what was done to them WAS reprehensible. Actions taken against Kathleen Willey were ESPECIALLY so. I think that particular incident angers me because she asked Clinton for help at the point of the death of her husband, and what did he do but try to gratify himself at her expense. Despicable.

O'neill did not include the fact that President Nixon was not inaugurated until January 20, 1969, because in Kerry's presentation to Congress, he stated explicitly that Nixon made statements re:Cambodia in 1970. So, Kerry at one point made clear that his "time in Cambodia" didn't coincide with Pres. Nixon.
However, O'neill quotes Kerry's book without comment, in which Kerry accuses Nixon of denying presence in Cambodia while Kerry was "in Cambodia."
O'neill knows that Kerry's lawyers will throw up lots of dust if the Nixon thing is emphasized, saying that Kerry clearly knew that Nixon was not in office in 1968. That way they will draw attention away from the important point, namely that Kerry wasn't there in any case.
Thank you.
