Things were different then. Sure, the media was biased, we all knew that, but in this election cycle, the left-wing media has welded itself to the Kerry campaign in a desparate attempt to enable the Left to regain its power. If Kerry is beaten soundly in November, look for the press and the Left to become even louder and more shrill. The water, after all, runs fastest when it gets close to the drain.

I agree with you there.

If the Dems take the kind of beating they took in 2002, the media's first reaction will be one of shock that all their hard work to destroy President Bush was for nought.

After that, look for their leaders to start making speeches and doing interviews that imply that they support violence to regain power. Not outright endorsements of violence at first, just a few "off the cuff" comments. Maybe a few "jokes" here and there about blowing up the White House, or some well-placed shots at members of Congress.

But after a while, the true face of the modern Democratic Party will be unmasked - violent, oppressive, hard-left socialistic, and intolerant of dissent of any kind.
