Just a thought: Your Mr. Parsons called Fox "Crazy people exchanging views" I just want to tell you that I am immediately terminating my AOL internet connection, and will never turn on your CNN product. I will also make a concerted effort to never go to a movie financed by Time Warner. Tell that to Mr. fancy pants Parson.

Sincerely

One thing to keep in mind as you blindly follow Fox News is the following from an article in NR. (see link) is the following excerpt; Please understand that I am not a Kerry supporter. Just don't want to drink the kool-aid.

And here’s a shocker. Peter Chernin, president and COO of News Corp. and chairman and CEO of Fox Group is on the list. That’s right — the same News Corp. run by the evil Australian reactionary Rupert Murdoch, and the same Fox whose cable news channel stole the 2000 Florida election from Al Gore (according to Michael Moore). Kerry’s press release even quotes Chernin at length. He sounds like a fire hose spouting pro-Kerry feel-good platitudes:

The Kerry-Edwards plan for America is exactly what is needed to jumpstart businesses and get America working again. It will lower healthcare costs and cut taxes on corporations and small businesses to strengthen our economy today and invest in education, science and innovation to help us stay competitive in the economy of tomorrow.
Has Chernin lost his mind?

Mr. Dick Parsons has referred to FOX News as crazy people exchanging views.

After watching two minutes of FnF this morning and watching the playground antics of Juliette Huddy and Mike Jerrick discussing Jack Ryan, I tend to agree with Parsons. That weekend program, however, is not indicative of the overall programming of FNC.

To: tom paine 2; All

Sent my email to Mr. Parson hope he enjoys.

Mr. Parsons,

I am glad to see that you have decide that you can determine what is legitimate news and what is just crazy ideas being exchanged. (sarcasm is intended.)

You have now guarantee with you statement about people that watch FOX News, as "Crazy people exchanging views." With That statement you ensure that I will no longer Watch CNN or CNN headline news. Will try to deal as little with any of Time Warner's products.(Many of which I had no problem with, Till now.)

What exactly is it about those who watch FOX News that makes them Crazy?

Is this not a free society where people can express differing views without being term with childish terms?

I consider myself a rational person, and I do find that what is reported Via Fox News to be fair accurate and devoid of most political opinion. Which I cannot unfortunately say about some of the reporters and shows on the CNN networks.

I realize that this is a politically charged time in America, and it is a time when the entire citizenship needs to make informed decisions on all candidates involve. Do you no think that this would be best served by toning down the rhetoric. By challenging the intelligence of the viewer ship of another media outlet, you run the risk of alienating them from your products.

I know that I am but one individual, and my particular comments will probably fall upon deaf ears. If it is the position of time warner to ignore their customer base and do things for their own political gain or motives, then maybe you don't need me as your consumer, or my family, or my relatives, defiantly not my friends, and last but not least those that I can reach via the Internet.

I use to watch CNN to get a broad spectrum of what the news is in the world and to view from as many sides as possible, but after your comments it has only confirmed what I have seen since the 2nd Gulf War started. You are more interested in broadcast news and printing content in your publications that disparage or consistently question President Bush. You fail to report on the positive things occurring in Iraq and Afghanistan.

My suspicion over all, after looking up you later viewer ship ranking vs. other networks since the 2nd Gulf war started, is that this is no more than sour grapes. Your products are failing in the market, and your way to balance the field is to Slander those who choose to seek their information in areas other than your outlet.

Enjoy you declining view ship, and I hope it continues to decline, and I also hope that the other products that time-warner develops and markets suffer the same effects.

I am a former veteran, and right now America is at War. Whether the rest of the world wants to admit it or not. This is a war that is before all is said and done will be on the level of WW2. This is a cultural war the terrorist do not want us dead because of Bush's Policies, they want us dead because they hate western civilization and America.

Regards,

Mark

"I'm no lib, but like a previous poster, I find FNC to bit a on the extreme side."

If you think that, you are a lib.

Fox is a bit to the right of CNN, still well left of center.
