This article only serves to highlight why increasingly I'm drawn to study Abraham Lincoln, the President I best feel G.W. to resemble in our nation's history.

I pray to God we make the right choice this election.

This is a very good article!

There is one thing that worries me though...
I hope that no one will try to assassinate President Bush. We need this man's leadership like no other. But with so many of the dimwit people that hate President Bush so, we will be blessed if he makes through his 2nd term.

Let's pray that the Lord will keep him safe from our enemies within this country!

Try this one:

He was a Republican president who was viewed as a fluke. His administration was wrapped in a major prison scandal that involved supposedly torturing terrorists in an unpopular war. The President promised to remove anyone involved, although he knew it did not go as high as the Secretary of Defense. Ultimately, a general "took the fall." At the time, this prison threatened to sink him, but he insisted on opening up the books.

And in 1904, Theodore Roosevelt was reelected, the Filipino prison scandal gone and the Philippine Revolt crushed. And now you know the rest of the story.

Hmm. When I go to the polls to cast my vote for President Bush November 2nd, I might declare who I'm voting for to protect those in the Military that will be DENIED their vote by the Democrats.

Food for thought, anyway .....
