I rode in one of those ONCE, and it was brand new. I've never been scared to ride in a new car before or since... Not a joke!

Sure! And he is going to be the first to buy one....What are the young parents to do since there children have to be in special booster seats until they are 6??? If the folks have two children this care pretty much is off the list...

I think we should drill the oil we have in this country and then flip off the Arabs,Canadians, Mexicans, and anyone else we are getting oil from

They sure are energy efficient. They don't run! And what about those people whose income is so low they can't afford to buy energy efficient cars?

Oh that's what the tax incentive is for. Oh that is right, the bottom 25% pay no federal income tax, so how does that work. Obviously a tax cut for the rich.

I don't like riding in a car and can see the bolts holding the bottom of the flooring of 18 wheelers together or have the feeling of my butt dragging the pavement. Those are the cars you have to sit down in, and then try to get your legs into the car. Not easy for 6' 2" people.

Did Rush miss the Yugo angle today? This plan by Kerry goes back to the Carter years, which brought us the great innovations in all those cheap little disposable cars of the late 70's and early 80's.

I love it! The govt will agree to give me back some of the tax money it took from me (and give more of my tax money to strangers) if we will agree to buy some little POS car and give up comfort, reliability, and safety. Thanks, john.

I understand those little tyke bikes with motors can get something like 125 miles to the gallon....

But the decibel level is like 90 or so. Think of a very loud gnat.

'Two Yugos in every garage'

This is a joke, right?
Who would want to drive a death trap car like a Yugo? I've got children. I'm not putting my kids in a little rat trap just because the liberal weenies want me to.
Screw you, and your two Yugo's, Kerry.
If he's serious about this, he just lost the election! The "man" has got to be insane!
What the heck kind of "presidential" idea is this ????

WHAT A DORK!!!
