The biggest point this idiot misses is that Jesus did these acts of compassion via his own free will and with his own resources. He did not use the force of government guns to steal from others so that he could confiscate their resources for redistribution.
The secondary points are that "being pushed into an insurance compay" is an action legislated by government and enforcable by force and that "being gouged by the drug companies" is actually caused (mostly) by the FDA. Both of these negative consequences are a result of government interference in individual's freedoms to chose and individual's responsibility for the consequences of their choices.
He forgets that God created man with a Free Will. That means man has the freedom to make choices and the expectation of assuming responsibility for their choices. As a result the idiot author of the article has made it clear that his position maintains the fact that the Government should take on the choices of man and the responsibility of man, therefore eliminating the Free Will bestowed upon us by God!
Pure evil, that needs a sound defeat!

Jesus hung around with prostitutes and tax collectors but that doesn't mean that he justified the actions of either. Jesus did not petition government to tax the citizens higher so that the poor could be taken care of.
We are called up to tithe 10% of our gross income (before taxes). It isn't charity if you give money to the poor through government under threat of imprisonment.
Compare the donations of conservatives to liberals (Al Gore had given, what $6,000(?) in 1999 or 2000).
Moses was the liberal; Pharaoh was the conservative. Abolitionists were liberals; slave owners were the conservatives. Mandela is a liberal; the South African apartheid leaders were the conservatives. That's why conservative Dick Cheney supported apartheid over Mandela, and approved of keeping Mandela in prison.
