On Imus this morning, Tom Brokaw was talking about how when he went to see Fahrenheit 911 and it got to the part where Bush sat there for 7 minutes, he (Brokaw) kept thinking, "You just wanted the guy to stand up and say (GET THIS!):
'Sorry, kids. The President has to go. America is under attack.'
What the??? Yeah, Tom, THAT'S what he should've done! Scare the crap out of a bunch of little kids by telling them "AMERICA IS UNDER ATTACK!"
How anyone thinks terrifying a group of kids....not to mention the ENTIRE COUNTRY AND THE WORLD, is beyond understanding to me.
The single most dangerous moment for this planet is when the American President loses his temper, folks.
Bush handled that moment with a clarity historians will remark upon favorably.
Exactly...And then Andrea Mitchell piles on...I can not STAND her and in fact have quit listening to Imus because of her. What a partisan ***** she is!
They're going to be retired and not living with the results of their betrayal.
Andrea Mitchell's partisanship does more harm to the Democrats than it does the President in my opinion.
I missed Brokaw on Imus this morning....but his comments don't surprise me in the least. Figured him out long ago, and my conclusions about him were confirmed by his attendance at the Mikey Moore Premier of Farhenheit 911.
I hope the Bush campaign gets that clip and shows it. Then I would hope that the senate opponents of those non thinking dems play it also. Adk a simple question. Is this the kind of leadership we really need. It would be devastating to four Dem candidates.
Then Michael Moore could have put in his movie how President Bush scared little children and acted in a hasty fashion trying to act macho.
Although I know there is a lot of video of the second plane flying into the WTC, I cannot recall one way or the other whether there was a live video feed of the second plane as it actually hit. Can anyone refresh my recollection?
