JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Challenging President Bush's "maturity" as a wartime leader, Democratic nominee John F. Kerry said yesterday that he would have excused himself from the Florida classroom on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, where Bush continued reading to children after learning about the attacks on the Twin Towers.

Ok butt wipe, I'll bet. But what should I bet on?
How about you playing both red and black on the same spin of the roulette wheel of terrorism!
"We might have" -- ewwww, you're soooooo tough and decisive. I bet you send shivers up Terezzzzzzza's spine!
Kerry is probably still trying to decide who he's going to vote for in this election.
There you go, trying to cloud the issue with facts. If the partisan media wanted Americans to know the truth they would have pointed that out during their unbiased reporting of the franchurian candidate saying it.
hanoi john either votes against funding for our Troops and Vets or skips the votes. hanoi john SKIPPED the vote on the defense bill Dubya signed yesterday. Another slap at the Military and Vets.
I'm SURE he could have ordered NYC Police & Fire Fighters to rush up to the floors that were hit, sift trough all of the burning bodies on the planes, and arrest the terrorists that DID it!
DORK!
JUST WHAT WAS KERRY DOING WHEN THE PLANES HIT? This has NEVER BEEN ASKED BY THE PRESS!
perky bitch katie couric
said it was a small plane that accidently hit the WTC on Good Morning America. The President left after 7 minutes. Just what was F'ing doing for those
UH, 40 MINUTES?
I was watching the Today show on 9-11, and they cut to a picture of the first plane in the WTC and were saying a "small plane" accidently hit the WTC, probably the pilot of the small plane dead. When they came back from commercial break, Matt Lauer was interviewing a woman on the street by the WTC, and she was pretty hysterical. She kept saying it was a huge! plane that hit the WTC, and Matt Lauer was dismissive, even saying at one point "I don't think so!" When the second plane hit, she began screaming live on TV and saying "It must be the air traffic controllers are losing control," etc. Nobody knew what was going on.

I hadn't heard that before. Thanks for the news.
The Clintonian approach to handling terrorism -- as a law enforcement problem.
What did FDR do in the 7 minutes after Pearl Harbor, other than continuing to squelch transmission of the massive amount of warning data to Pearl Harbor's Naval Commanders?
What did LBJ do in the 7 minutes after the Gulf of Tonkin incident didn't happen?
What did JFK do in the 7 minutes after the execution of Diem that he gave permission for?
What did Bill Clinton do in the 7 YEARS after the first WTC bombing?
Democrats are absolutely shameless.

Let's make a commercial with Michael Moore talking about the 7 minutes and then John Kerry echoing the same words.
Announcer: do you want Michael Moore as the national security advisor to the President of the United States?
I think we all sat stunned. It was just to much to take in. Still is.
Someone post this on another thread:
"Here's what the Massachusetts Democrat (Kerry) said July 8 when Larry King asked where he was on 9/11, according to CNN's own transcript:
"'Nobody Could Think'
"I was in the Capitol. We'd just had a meeting - we'd just come into a leadership meeting in Tom Daschle's office, looking out at the Capitol. And as I came in, Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, and we watched the second plane come in to the building. And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon. And then word came from the White House, they were evacuating, and we were to evacuate, and so we immediately began the evacuation."
"How appropriate that Kerry lumps himself in with fellow left-wing non-thinkers such as Boxer, Daschle and Reid."
