It is fitting that after years of overheated anti-war posturing he is subject to the charges he once was happy to hurl himself.

I hadn't looked at Kerry's predicament this way. Thanks for posting this great piece.

I have a solution. Kerry should turn himself in to the International Criminal Court for trial for his war crimes. His running mate (John the shyster) could be his legal counsel.
One item I have yet to see questioned is Kerry's statement he did not know it was against the law to do these crimes. I believe there is a way to see if this is true. When I entered the Army if 1971, I was given training on The Geneva Convention, the rules of war and the Code of Conduct. This training was annotated on my personnel record ( If I remember right my Form 2 of 2A). It remained there throughout my military career. This was for the Army, but perhaps some Navy Vets can help out here. Seems to me training along this line would be a Dept of Defense requirement.
Did the Navy if the late 60's or early 70s require this type of training? And how was it annotated.
Then the "distinguished veteran" would but have to release his military records and the truth would be know.
