Jim Rassman claimed he submitted John Kerry for the Silver Star on Hannity/Colmes.

Did anyone else see this? This was the first time I have heard him claim this. Is he just saying this because he knows Kerry will never file a SF180 to release his records? I suspect John Kerry actually put himself in for the Silver Star, but we have no way of knowing, do we?

Many of you seem to be asking why the enlisted crewmen of Kerry's boat would support him.

Here's a fact that many don't know. On the day Kerry received the Silver Star. He put his crew in for medals also. 2 Bronze Stars w/combat V and 3 Navy Commendation medals w/combat V were awarded based on Kerry's lies in addition to his Silver Star.

People, this was group medalgate! This was the most highly decorated boat in the history of the war for 1 action. It was a minor fire fight against about 20 local VC by 3 boats (18 crewmen) and about 70 South Vietnamese troops on the boats.

And yes, I'm a member of swiftvets and a decorated riverine sailor. We are not "shills" for Republican Pary. We are not Pro Bush. We're simply Anti-Kerry for the reasons stated at www.swiftvets.com

If John Kerry released his service records we could find out. But He knows what they will contain so I don't look for him to let them be released.

Kerry's lies go deep I thimk he will deny and let the media run interference for him, before he would let the truth be exposed.

All of this can be cleared up with the release of records.

Assuming they aren't "Sanditized"

Was Rassman an officer?
Only an officer can recommend someone for a Silver Star...

FLASHBACK: Heroism, and growing concern about war (Silver Star or Courtmartial for Kerry)
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1185927/posts

"When Kerry returned to his base, his commanding officer, George Elliott, raised an issue with Kerry: the fine line between whether the action merited a medal or a court-martial."

Apparently Rassmann was a Green Beret hitching a ride, and not actually a memeber of Kerry's crew.

I heard him say it, also. Susan Estrich was disgusting.

Federal:

I agree.

But the technique we need to use is to NOT ask Kerry, but his other supporters.

Tonight Sean let Susan Estridge interrupt a Swift boat sailor who was giving his version of the event in question and Sean was respectful to the Kerry vet, but didn't lay a hand on him.

If he would have asked him: "Since you are sure that Kerry is a hero, you wouldn't have any objections to Kerry releasing his military records would you?"

THAT will put pressure on Kerry, getting his supporters to support it, NOT going straight to Kerry.

He'll just say NO.

But if his entire party is calling for it, that will be hard for him to ignore...

Didn't the late William Cooper call himself "river rat"? I wonder what he would say if still alive.

Kerry is a living conspiracy. His military service is corrupt. His anti-American activities after the war is corrupt. His Senate record is corrupt. His marriage is corrupt. His Presidential candidacy is corrupt. Kerry needs to move back to France, or better yet, communist Vietnam where he belongs.

I'll bet he did put Kerry in for the award.

Has anyone checked Rasmann's 201 file to see if Kerry put him in for anything?

I know of a few times when this happened with career, or other, types.

Can Green Beret's recommend somebody in the Navy for a Silver Star?

Rassmann was a Green Beret.

Rassmann said "memories fade after so many years". Sounds like he's covering for the lies about hostil fire during the rescue.
