I am sorry but it is not the republicans spewing hate!!!!! This is a group of Vietnam vets who served with Kerry and knew his actions there and have a score to settle with him over his testimony in the Senate causing the tide to turn against the soldiers. This is their justified war with Kerry, brought on by his actions during and after the war, it has nothing to do with republicans other than it is fun to watch!
Somehow I would doubt that most of these guys would have come forward if he had not done such damage to the image of the Vietnam vet on his return. Nor do I think it wise for Republicans to be seen impuning these vets in anyway. Republicans will not touch this with a ten foot poll but they will enjoy every minute of the show.

Rush is OK, but Savage is a little over the top at times. I heard him bad mouth Rush last night. Mr. Savage is rather arrogant - goodness, he makes Rush look humble. :-)

RE: the $ supposedly given to the Swift Boat vets: Why should they not accept support funding for their ad so it can get on the air? Look at who funds the left; Soros, Hollywierd stars, foreign sources.

My friend, if you're unhappy with this topic being stressed in this campaign...take it up with John Kerry. He is the one who has made this his cornerstone.
The challenge is coming from those who were there..who served with him. When did we become afraid of the truth?
As to the heroism of GWB you alluded to....there is no greater hero in my book than one who puts America first and battles the enemy both outside and within to keep me safe.
If you're saying that the sum total of Michael Savage is him 'spewing hate day in and day out' then you're both ignorant and lazy.

The Swift Boat veterans are making hay over Kerry getting a Silver Star for shooting a loinclothed Cong in the back and lying about it.
If an al Qaeda shot at a tank of Marines, then ran for his life, a Marine chased him and shot him in the back when he wouldn't surrender, I would strongly consider nominating that Marine for a Silver Star.
Kerry may have been a political opportunist in Vietnam, but I don't fault him for this specific act or for getting a medal for it. If he lied to superiors and that can be proven, that's another story.

Kerry knew the Swiftboat Vets were out there and O'Neil was out there way before he made Vietnam the cornerstone of his campaign. He must feel he can handle them and twist the issue to hurt Bush.
