"You weren't the President."
"I love W and think he's done a fine job but I've got questions about sticking around there too. I think Card or one of the Secret Service should have told him "We've gotta go."
So are you saying to one Freeper that they weren't the President therefore they don't know why W did what he did, but then you, someone who is obviously not the President, do know what the President should have exactly done.
No offense but that's really some standard circular liberal speak.
The first was a response to #53, my point being that while we were all shocked and many watched the TV frozen (apparently what Kerry was doing by the way), that as a leader, you are held to a different standard. It might have been OK for Kerry to watch TV for 40 minutes or most of us to stare at the scene but not if we had something that needed to be done.
In the second post, my comment was directed to Card and the Secret Service, not a criticism of W. If Card said, "We're under attack and we're working the plan to get to AF One, hold on." no problem. If Card just popped in and said "We're under attack." and zipped back out of the room, I certainly have a problem with that. Any leader needs information in order to make a good decision.
In yet another post, I offered that no one knows what was said prior to the President going into the room (post first attack) and perhaps he was told that they were getting more information but to sit tight until they got the security situation under control. If so, no problem at all with hanging tight.
The pained and concerned look on the President's face is certainly not something to be held up for ridicule and Moore is a second guessing blob of an a**hole, I think we can agree on that. Man in the arena and all of that.
Breaking out the L word on me is nasty though...
