a) SKERRY is exceedingly skillful at manipulating people and institutions.
b) Lots of people would easily dream lots of fantasies about being a best buddy with the PRESIDENT OF THE USA.
c) If SKERRY were to win the election (GOD FORBID!), it would be interesting how many times he gave them the time of day--especially a 2nd term.
I've been reading through these threads today and thinking exactly the same thing. I read a thread yesterday or the day before by one of those vets who had spoken out. Wish I could keep all of this in mind so I could refer to it.
I wish Jeremiah Denton were still in Congress. Nevertheless, he and many others who have spoken out can grab a telephone and microphone and once more do the dirty work of exposing the truth to an unwilling media.
Dear God, how proud I am of the likes of that man.

I believe that all those years in captivity may have harmed McCain's brain...I would never trust putting this POW who was tortured in politics, that is too stressful for him.

Oh, McCain has been pimp-slapped!
It was a six-man crew, but Kerry had at least 2 boats,first in CanRanh, then Mekong. (and probably at least 2 crews) Plus people rotated in and out. I would guess his total crewmates number was 15-20 different individuals.
McCain apparently doesn't think anyone but elected officials and cannidates running for office *have* any first amendment freedom of speech. Otherwise why would he have authored, well had ghosted, the so called "Campaign Fianance Reform" Act, aka the incumbent protection act.
Not sure in their case, but application starts 60 days before the general election, which is, by my calculations, Sept. 3rd for the Nov. 2nd election.
