My 15-year-old watches Smallville and really enjoys it. I've seen bits and pieces with her, but I'm not really into it. I refer to it as "that Superboy show" and she just rolls her eyes. Aren't kids great?

The Willow-has-a-crush-on-Xander thing was very much a component of the first two seasons. Then she met Oz (which is a character I don't think you've mentioned yet and was WONDERFULLY played by Seth Green), who was her boyfriend for a bit, then he left for her safety.
Oz found out he was a werewolf. :) I hope I'm not spoiling these episodes...I'm just filling in some info for ya.
What ever she thought was what she said.
Cordy's character can be summed up in one line she said to Giles, after he accused her of being tactless. "Tact is just not saying true stuff. I'll pass." :)

a.) Chairface
b.) American Maid (sorry, had to look that one up...for some reason I was thinking Maid of America, but knew that couldn't be right, sounded too much like a mall)

Star Trek
Ooo! Ooo! You said Star Trek ! ;)
We had friends over for the 4th, and the conversation turned to TV.
One of my best friends was talking about Star Trek, and he made the mistake of saying Doctor Spock instead of Mister Spock.
Hubby just started doing the eye-roll thing soon as the words left my friends mouth, 'cause he knew what was coming next -
and he was right! LOL!
Stargate is a VERY good show, I just can't seem to remember to tape it, and it's on too late for the girls to stay up.

No! SEWER URCHIN! How could I forget Sewer Urchin!

Aren't kids great? Yeah, they are! Smallville stays very loyal to the entire Superman genre, but has some very interesting secondary story line to make it very watchable.
The one where Clark met Perry White as a down on his luck reporter was extremely well done.

It's every bit as good as Babylon 5. I don't believe Xena has watched Bab5 either but you're right, both are very good shows. So was Farscape if you ever saw it.

I gotta go with the Crusading Chameleon, myself, and El Seed (I have a thing for opera.) However, Thrakkorzog gets mad props for having Tim Curry's voice.

I must object. The Shield is perhaps the worst family show out there, and I love it...JFK

Mad Bomber What Bombs At Midnight, and of course, Sewer Urchin, yeah, definately Sewer Urchin.
Next question: Who was the better sidekick, Arthur or Little Wooden Boy?...JFK

I'm waiting for the evaluation of the shows on the cartoon channel, the history channel and the science channel.

Oh, man, there's another Tick fan on FR besides us and I can't remember who it is. Stu, is it you? Someone last month had "Gravity is a harsh mistress" as a tagline.
I'd have to opt for Arthur as better sidekick, because Little Wooden Boy doesn't have the credit rating or the rental history Arthur does.

I would open my comic book store a half hour early on Saturday morning so that the loyal regulars and I could watch The Tick and Life With Louie, we would just sit and laugh our butts off for a cool hour. Great way to start the workday...JFK

Hi!
It's my opinion that the cartoon channel is the most conservative channel out there.
To: Xenalyte
Yep I'm a Tick fan from all the way back to the early days of the FIRST comic book series. Second day I spent with my wife (we weren't into dates per se, we just hung out together) was spent on my beanbag chair reading Tick aloud.
I hope the animated series comes out on DVD, neither TV show truly matched the beauty of the books (shhh, we're a hedge) but the did an excellent job.

Ick. (just my opinion...) :-) Aw c'mon. She is ALL kinds of cute. Besides, what's on the inside carries a lot of weight with me and Reba is just plain old real people. Nothing phony or mean about her.

I never got into "Farscape"; it was never on at a convenient time. The few episodes I saw looked like it had potential, though.
