Hey!
I just realized that I regularly enjoy both the #1 best and the #1 worst shows. Does that make me confused?

Kids who watch that show will be imprinted with a perception of God that is completely false.

Whereas you, of course, have a certified absolutely true perception of her. Courtesy of magic mushrooms? a burning bush? What?

Since no mentally sane adult would make such an asinine assertion, I'll have to conclude that you are either a preteen or senile.

I've never watched Joan of Arcadia, but didn't I see previews for one of the shows where God was telling her to have relations with a young man so he wouldn't become gay? Or did I imagine that? To me it seems to belittle God, that he needs any help from a human.

Your problem is not a gene, it's that broomstick stuck where it doesn't belong.
Stargate is the name of the main character, the device for interstellar worm hole travel. SG-1 (not Stargate- 1) is the name of the team comprised of the four main (human) characters. There is no solecism whatsoever.

Overlooking your misuse of "comprised" for the moment, what does the SG in SG-1 stand for?

You must have imagined it, because I remember no such episode. Of course it is common knowledge that gays have a predisposition to interpret everything in the universe as being about themselves (both pro and con).
Also, one of the characters may have misinterpreted God's suggestion; that happens all the time.

Since that has never been officially explained, I assume it is subject to individual inference. My guess would be Solipsism Goosestep.

There was one episode toward the end of the first season where the lead character, Joan, misinterpreted God's instruction to her. No sex was had. The brief summary of the series at the beginning of this thread is pretty accurate. The program has some limitations, but I put it in the positive column for evoking some good family discussions.

Nip/Tuck sort of fascinated me for a while, but I have missed the last few weeks, mainly because it's on the same time as the Amazing Race, the one show I really make an effort to watch every week. I don't know what it is about Nip/Tuck. I think the fact that it isn't a police drama or reality show is really interesting, since about every non-News and non-Sitcom show on network TV falls into these categories. But with Nip/Tuck, only Julia has any sympathy: the rest of them are really wacky people.

And come on, CSI and Cold Case are interesting shows. I don't watch them every week, but I catch them sometimes...
