Is Teresa Becoming A Problem?

You tell her! Valuable voter feedback for Kerry's campaign from deep within the comments section of Ruy Teixeira's Donkey Rising:

I attended the Kerry rally in downtown GR MI 8/2. A huge noon time crowd, nearly 10,000, in this very conservative GOP area. The size was beyond everyone's expectations.

The rally was held on a 2 acre+ concrete plaza, on a very hot day with the temp on that surface nearly 100 degrees. We had to wait hours for the festivities to begin because of the security checks prior to entrance.

Finally the Kerry entourage arrived; but before the candidate spoke, up stepped Theresa. Instead of expressing a few words of gratitude to the long suffering crowd and making a short intro speech for her husband, we were treated to a too long, and may I say self indulgent discourse.

There on the stage was our wonderful gov., [Jennifer] Granholm, who was permitted to say nothing. None of the down ticket people were allowed a word either; although in that heat they may not have been welcomed by the crowd.

Theresa took all of the air out of the rally. People started to leave before Sen. Kerry finished. They had to go back to work, find water or start back to home through heavy traffic.

Yeah, but don't stop at blaming her oddity.

IMO, it's all about the 'rat-obsession on personality.

They are truly the party of "the man" and not of ideas. Ideas, results, principles...these are all secondary and can change as long as there is a King/Queen to follow.

Contrast that with a party (a little more-yet-decreasing) ready to replace the person in favor of the idea/principle...i.e. Gingrich, Nixon, Packwood (himself), etc.

She's a "miss" on the democrat star search. They're hoping B.Obama is a hit. Edwards' jury's still out...he's only a hit if he beats Republicans...(ref: Al Gore)

"Is Teresa Becoming A Problem?"

Isn't that kinda like asking if the pope is becoming a Catholic?

I hope that they show Terri Kerry more and more. This woman should be right there with Hanoi John and be free to say anything she wants and take as much time as she wants.
A debate between Laura & Terri would be the verbal equivalent of driving the sKerry campaign bus off a cliff. Every time Terri speaks another vote goes to the W column.

Bring 'er on!

After hearing blips from the convention, I think the Dems should allow only Teresa and Jimmy Carter to campaign for Kerry.

Those two were the best. I also think I know where Kerry's negative bounce came from.

(Sung to the tune of "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?" from The Sound of Music)

How do you solve a problem like Theresa?

How do you keep her crazy ramblings down?

How do you find a word that means Theresa?

A psycho lady! An albatross! A clown!

Many’s the time you know you'd like to gag her

Many’s the time she ought to shut her mouth

But how do you squelch her rap

And stanch the flow of crap

How do you keep your numbers in the South?

Oh, how do you solve a problem like Theresa?

How do you hold a trust fund in your hand?

"Theresa took all of the air out of the rally. People started to leave before Sen. Kerry finished. They had to go back to work, find water or start back to home through heavy traffic. "

The simple fact is nobody can tell this woman "No", not her husband the Senator, not the Campaign manager Mary Beth Cahill, not any democratic strategist.

And thats why I've said for almost a year when America meets this woman, there would be a measurable "recoil".

Nothing better for Conservatives than a rich, out of control liberal with nothing to lose. And believe it, she doesn't think her husband losing this race is a "personal loss" she thinks this whole thing is a great inconvience.

Of course Terazor spoke first and as long as she damn well pleased. It's her time in the light and she's paid for the whole thing! sKerry would not be there at all (senate or candidacy) without her money. I find it funny that the libs have to deal with the fact that

It doesn't get much better than this.

Terrayzzzzzzuh, a problem? Well, duh.

It's especially interesting considering the lengths this poster is willing to go to to s-t-r-e-t-c-h the truth:

A huge noon time crowd, nearly 10,000,

I can't find the source right now, but a local LIBERAL reporter put the number closer to 2000.

Teresa will become a problem only when she begins to speak as a Republican. Until then, only political junkies will see and hear about her "opinions."

That indicates the writer is a hostile witness, which would make his testimony more valuable.

Time to send Teresa on a long global fact-finding mission? I would say the role of women in developing countries urgently needs hands-on investigation. With her African background, Teresa's the perfect person for the job. ... [Thanks to alert reader T.] 12:20 A.M.

This was at the end of what you linked to. LOL
