He doesn't even live here. He's never lived here. Why would any Illinois citizen vote for him? He might get some North-side votes if he lauds the Orioles.

I am dead-dog 100% serious. Let's make Keyes' election priority second only to W this fall. I worry the GOP won't give him much, since he's "too conservative" and is thought to not have a chance to win. Let's organize a grass-roots effort to get this man in the Senate. It isn't impossible, if we can energize every conservative in Illinois to vote...

Now, we have two black candidates. I realize black voters will still trend 90% Dem, even if both guys are black, but I do wonder if Keyes can capture at least a few socially conservative Christian black voters...maybe get 15% or 20% of the black vote...he'd probably be able to pull off a win that way.
