It doesn't matter whether you complained about it or not, she is a carpetbagger.

Doesn't matter if a person is a carpetbagger or not.

If a person with good credentials came to my state and ran for the senate, I would support them.

"Actually, I believe he went to Columbia University (in NYC) and Harvard Law, so he must have moved to Chicago after he graduated from law school."

I could have sworn I read he was at U/Chicago. Maybe it was some kind of post-grad studies.

Well, if he is campaigning full time, how do you expect him to pay his bills?

LOL

You sound like you will be dissappointed if Obama loses.

Actually I would be more than happy if Keyes beat Obama.

I vote straight Republican every election.

I'm just giving you my honest opinion. Keyes will not win this election.

Sigh. Accusations but no specifics. Oh well. Looks like we'll have something to talk about Sunday. Have a good evening.

Once again, I think you're absolutely right. The rank and file Mooreons may want to win, but the Clintonistas aren't in any way trying to win the presidency for John Kerry. Hillary went to New York so she could run in 2008, and Kerry would only be in the way. If he wins it might be a complication, not a bonus. But at least liberal voters will be inspired by their hatred of Bush to go to the polls, and push more liberals into Congress at the same time.

Everyone thinks Congress is safe for the Republicans, and I think everyone is wrong about that.

Obama is a professor of law at University of Chicago.

He wasn't raised for POTUS.

Well THAT's certainly obvious.
Training wasn't necessary to claim his inheritance.

I never knew we weren't.

Well, thanks!

You've ruffled my feathers a few times, but, heck, I always figured we're on the same side generally, or we wouldn't be on this forum.

I'm feeling a group hug coming on .... :)

Go Bush/Cheney and Keyes in 2004!

When Newt stepped down a few years back I almost threw in the towel on the GOP. The only thing that matters is winning right now, the America the RATS have in store for us will be a nightmare if they get their way.

Things like this are wrong when THEY do it, but perfectly fine when we do it.

Wrong, Luis. There is nothing inherently evil about Keyes moving to Illinois to run (and it's perfectly constitutional). It's a neutral.

The problem is when someone evil tries takes a neutral and tries to do evil things with it (Hillary)--advance evil causes, etc. But a good man taking a neutral and doing good with it (Keyes) is acceptable. Especially in this unique Illinois circumstance.

Bottom line: We do not have to be "fair" to evil, and the assumption that we do is based on moral relativism.

Keyes could not get enough conservatives to watch his TV show to keep it runnin for even six months.

He talks over people, not to them.
