Eagle Bridge, NY July 27, 2004 W Ketchup today announced a donation of 350 bottles of W Ketchup to the Family Assistance Program of the New Hampshire National Guard.
When George Gielen called to ask for a donation of ketchup for the wives of National Guardsmen serving their country in Iraq, we didnt hesitate, stated Bill Zachary, Chairman of W Ketchup. Between certain recently-released movies and the current political environment, the families of soldiers are not getting the support they should, and we wanted to do our part to help, he added.
Today we had a picnic at the US Air Force Tracking Station located in New Boston, NH, Mr. Gielen said. He noted: I found it interesting that the Heinz ketchup wasn't opened at all. Needless to say, your donations to the families went over very well.
W Ketchup supports our troops through donations to organizations that reflect the dedication and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform.
I had my first case arrive last week. It tastes great also.
Does anyone know who makes it? I don't mean who markets it, I mean who makes it. If this is somehow coming from a production facility that supplies Heinz...
Just got in 4 bottles. It does taste good, real good, and I love being on the "right side" of the ketchup market.
No, I understand the company is not connected with Heinz. I was only asking about where the ketchup is made.
Now you've done it! The "Secure Ordering" server is overloaded and not responding. Freepers voting with their fingers.
I just noticed my Heinz Ketchup is a Product of Canada....SHEESH...
Please don't misunderstand, I'm not busting on them or trying to disrupt. I was just curious. Thanks for the link.
Where can you buy this stuff?
Order it on the Web site: http://www.wketchup.com
Loved this quote from Buckley:
Having tasted your ketchup, my life has changed. I use it of course on meat and potatoes. But such is my addiction to it that I began the other day to use it on watermelon. You cannot imagine the taste! Tonight I will scrape away the caviar, as that dilutes the taste of W Ketchup. With all good wishes,
William F. Buckley, Jr.
LOL
Way to go. You are the Great Ketchup Activist.
Anything to tweak the liberals.
Did you see the quote from Buckley above? It is soo funny.
I was in a nice seafood restaurant today. The waitress brought ketchup. I said, we'll take that if it's not Heinz. She very timidly said: "I'm sorry" as she set the Heinz ketchup on the table. I said: "Thank you very much but I'll just eat tartar sauce". She said: "I understand". She knew what was up.
Ahem!!!!!!!!!!
:-)
>> I was only asking about where the ketchup is made.<<
It is made in Ohio.
WELL...thanks for the pingulation!
Here's my W Ketchup story to add
to the mix!
My carton of 16 bottles arrived yesterday.
All I could say was, "What was I THINKING???"
A good friend (who will remain nameless...hint hint she
has a grandson named Brad wink wink)
offered to take 4 bottles off my hands.
So today at the post office as I was mailing them,
the clerk asked if there was anything perishable.
I said as a matter of fact I'm mailing ketchup.
"Ketchup?" she asked.
"Yes," I said. "Republican ketchup. W ketchup."
To my relief, she cracked up.
"Oh good," I said. "You're Republican."
She asked about wketchup.com and I told her all about
Free Republic.
I was almost as relieved as Reagan after he got shot and told the surgeon, "I hope you're a Republican."
So I got home and grabbed another bottle of
W ketchup and drove back to the post office.
Her line was long, so I just quietly walked up
and placed it in front of her.
She was THRILLED. She laughed a loud THANK YOU, showed it to the other postal clerks and I left to the sound of hoots and laughter.
Yesterday I gave one to the guy manning the
voter registration table outside of Vons.
He had a Bush/Cheney sign and hadn't heard of Free Republic. He was also VERY happy with the ketchup.
With several bottles left, this should be fun!
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
