Whew, strong stuff, that. My neighbor who served two tours in the PBRs (same command as Swift Boats) tells me that he would not even have applied for Purple Hearts based on his understanding of Kerry's war wounds.
1. Kerry cheapened the Purple Heart for many
2. Swiftboat guys say they dreaded getting PH's
3. Kerry submitted his own PH's and medals
4. Kerry had no "Wounds"
These Swiftboat guys ought to make it a point to announce just how many PH's they got by completing a 12 month tour, especially the guys on sKerry's boat.
I pulled a rose bush thorn out of my hand last weekend that bigger and deeper than that, and then kept on mowing. Sheesh. I also got a much larger wound one day last week from trying to break up a doggie chew (a very hard chew!) by striking it on the edge of the table. That one bled pretty good, but didn't get a bandaid either, just some hydrogen peroxide.

While the Repubs won't run an ad like this, they need to be in more contact with Swift Vets and try to help them in non-financial ways.
We owe a debt of gratitude to our American Troops, "past, present, and future", and especially to our Viet Nam veterans who suffered being shunned and degraded by some people in America who listened to the criminal testimony of John Kerry, and who believe that Kerry is an American patriot. Our Viet Nam veterans fought for our freedoms. John Kerry did not.
The Swift Boat Vets know the truth, they want America to know the truth, for the SAFETY of our Country. Their message is that John Kerry is unfit to lead America.
Do everything you can to help get the message out that the Swift Boat Vets are speaking the truth.
