40-TON BOMB TO DROP ON WHITE HOUSE -- Is America At War Against Terrrorism, Or Not?
ICONOCLAST ^ | Beth Goodtree

Posted on 08/04/2004 11:15:14 AM PDT by clintonbaiter

Starting now, every citizen in America has the opportunity to launch a 40-ton bomb aimed straight for Congress and the White House. Thanks to a coalition of people, crossing all political and religious affiliations, we have a chance to profoundly alter government policy that could be disastrous for America.

In the aftermath of 9-11, President Bush swore that "You are either with us, or you are with the terrorists." Yet when it comes to Israel, US government policy has been aiding and abetting the terrorists, while punishing the victims of Arab/Islamist terror. This policy gives terrorists the message that homicide bombings, rocket attacks and more are not merely acceptable to the US government, but that such behavior will be rewarded by US policy.

Since last year, President Bush has been promoting a scheme dreamed up by the Wahabbi Islamist Saudis in 2002. As reported on the BBC, Saudi Arabi first proposed Israel cut out her soul, expel her own people, and give her land to those committed to her destruction. This scheme was presented by the US, the EU, Russia and the UN in 2003 and given the positive-sounding name of `The Roadmap.' It demands that a Muslim country, founded and occupied by past and present terrorists and their followers, be created within the heart of Israel.

These terrorists, who erroneously call themselves `Palestinian,' admit that they are nothing more than Arabs of various backgrounds. They also admit they have no rights or claims as a group to any country of their own. And they further admit that the purpose of a `Palestinian' country is to destroy Israel, as evidenced by the following quote............

Imagine the impact on Bush's reelection hopes when 40 tons of ballots tell him that we deplore his rewarding terrorism by validating illegitimate claims to land within a peaceful and democratic sovereign nation

No Beth, can't imagine that happening ever. A wacko rant by Ms Goodtree.

Sounds like someone is going to be hearing from the FBI soon. I don't think they can write threats like this, can they?

I doubt it - the 40-ton bomb in this piece is clearly metaphorical. This article is not a terroristic threat, just a very poor piece of writing.

It sounds as though Ms. Goodtree is more anti-Bush than pro Israel, or she would know that President Bush is the best friend that Israel ever had.

Gotta think that this is nothing but agitprop designed to fool naive Jewish folks into thinking that somehow the President is bad for Israel.

Must mean the Left is getting scared about the fact that a good chunk of votes they have always taken for granted is slipping from their grasp.

That was my thought, exactly. Are there that many stupid Jewish voters? Oh, wait a minute, I just remembered the old women voters in Florida in 2000 who couldn't figure out the butterfly ballot.

I made a relevant comment at this thread... THE TERROR WEB. Were Madrid bombings part of new, far-reaching jihad being plotted on Internet?

I urge everyone to read the [New Yorker] article in its entirety. It is a truly comprehensive and profoundly sobering assessment of the strategic situation of this epic conflict as the skirmishes end and the real war is about to begin. But read Claudia Rosett's shorter piece on her investigations of the Oil for Food scandal at the [Weekly Standard] before you read The Terror Web. It will allow you to wade through the editorial misrepresentations in the New Yorker piece and gain a stronger understanding of the bureaucrats'[Kerry's] role in undermining Western Civilization.

Shared suffering gets no sympathy from me when it's self-inflicted.

Two points: First, it's not a matter os ympathy. It's a matter of the best way for Israel to defend itself and keep it's citizens safe and secure. Ruling over four million hostile Arabs isn't a recipe for safety or security.

Next, the Palestinian leadership and the Arabs are responsible for the suffering, yes, but indivdual Palestinians who speak out are branded "collaboraters", lynched, and murdered. For many suffering silently is better because they know nobody in the world is likely to help them get rid of their incredibly oppressive terrorist leadership. It is possible to be innocent of any wrongdoing and be a Palestinian, and such a person may be worthy of sympathy.

The best thing we can do for the Palestinians is regime change. Why President Bush extracted a promise from Prime Minister Sharon not to harm Arafat is beyond me.

"Israel is a terrorists country?"

No if you will read this disjointed piece, then go to the link and read it, you will understand that what she is saying is that in effect the "Palestinians" have said they have no viable claim to their own country (since they are just a bunch of Arabs from other places), they just want to destroy Israel. Then goes on to say that we are supporting this through our actions. You know calling for a "Palestinian State" etc...

The first step on the road to recovery is to reach the bottom, and acknowledge it. I have no idea how long it will that the middle east to recover from it's addiction to self-flagellation, but we can't be everywhere at once.
