Gerry Greenwald, Chairman, Greenbriar Equity, Former Chairman and CEO, United Airlines

Looks like that post 9/11 big fat corporate welfare to the arline industry was in vain.

August A. Busch IV, President, Anheuser-Busch

Anyone know which way Coors is going?

Peter Chernin, President and COO, News Corp.

News Corp?! Am i missing something?

William E. Kennard, Managing Director, The Carlyle Group

The Carlyle Group!? That pretty much puts Michael Moore's thesis in F9/11 down the drain, dont it?

Bronfman's are media and booze related. Their grandfather was a big bootleggar. Roger Altman was a former Clintonite in the Treasury department. The big money capital guys have no shame, they figure they will make more money with Kerry in office as Bush doesn't play with them anyway. I know several Wall Street suits that have been working behind the scenes to get him elected so they can do more business. They don't care about the peons anyway.

A very high portion of these "business leaders" are in the investment banking industry. They desire that the bond market bubble be kept inflated at taxpayer expense, just like what happened under Clinton/Rubin. Kerry would undoubtedly be more than happy to oblige in the same manner.

Their "businesses" are just an extension of the Leviathan state.

Bush, on the other hand, admirably let Enron, Global Crossing, etc fail, even though the liberal media screamed that they were "too big to fail", and that their collapse would have far reaching implications. Just look at the Paul Krugman articles at the time if you don't believe me.

The fact is, the free market worked just fine in these instances, and the bad guys, the clueless, and the greedy investors got wiped out.

Wonder how many of these companies outsource? I can see two at least.

Think they want Kerry because they know his economic "plan" will give them the cover they need to export more jobs?

I will not boycott these companies unless they come out with anti-Bush diatribe/comments like the Hollywood types are doing. I allow people I do busines with to have their own views(ones that oppose my own) because that is what makes America great. I don't have a problem with a person coming out and saying I don't agree with Bush's position...here is why. However if they lie about Bush or call him a babykiller/misleader/dunce etc. that is where I will draw the line.

I can live without the Hollywood/liberalmuscician types ala julia roberts/ellen degenerate, dixie chicks etc... and I do boycott them.

There are business on that list I do busines with and also obtain some of my own income from. Besides If I start boycotting all these business plus who knows how many more that will pop up I will be living like the Unabomber in my house void of anything to buy, growing my own food and knitting my own clothes from vines from my trees. Life is too short to live like that.

This just shows how dumb these boycotts are..I'll bet at least 85% of the FR traffic goes through a Cisco product somewhere. To say nothing of the number of Fox news watchers on FR.

If the Bush Campaign feels so insecure that they need to post a list like this (which I doubt they would), it would be interesting to see whom in which companies that support Kerry, also give money to the Bush campaign. Some corps are smart enough to butter both sides of their bread.

When I was a college boy, they called me W as well. Does this mean I can't use W? I'm so sad.

Very good point. Besides if you boycott one of the companies above and buy from their competitor, the competitor may be a bigger Kerry supporter via money donations and just not advertise it.

The company I work for gives money to both parties pretty much equally. That way whoever is in power we will still get contracts.

I'm reading a great book, "Myth of the Robber Barons" that distinguishes two types of businessmen; market types & subsidy types. The subsidy types live off the government and know that liberals increase their profits. The market types are usually the good guys that do better than their competitors even with all of the gov't help they get (and the most unjustly villified by history)

That makes a lot more sense than a boycott.

Then you should boycott everything, and live in a vacuum.

Mark Chandler, Vice President and General Counsel, Cisco Systems

However, the CEO of Cisco Sytems, John Chambers, is a very outspoken supporter of the President, having even hosting fundraisers for him.
