Fine Cape Girardeau Dining for the Kerrys

Well, Senator Kerry, the flyover tour continues it must be just so hard on your stomachs. You are getting smarter though! You and the missus didn't even show up to that stupid Milwaukee Dairy Queen or that grubby Leon's BBQ place to throw your food away! Hey, I know you said you'd go, but you cleverly ducked that one and ate some fine cuisine at Pieces of Eight on the lakefront. Pretty slick my friend. It was a scenic location and the missus probably approved of that one. We understand that you and the missus are used to the finest cuisine and now have to look like you are eating like the locals, but now you just say you're eating it, hahahahaha. Those rubes in the flyover states really believe you too. They even showed up to the restaurants in your speech! What a bunch of maroons. (I am slapping my knee!)

We little people are so impressed! I know you must have been embarassed by the revelation that you ate on the bus at stop and threw the local food in the garbage. We all saw that you really didn't eat at the Wendy's. I mean, everyone thought you were eating at Wendy's, but then you had some take out at a more "substantial" place for some decent food. I know that a wealthy "Uber" class person such as yourself wants to really eat the way you are used to. So, as a continuing service to your campaign, I am doing the research on your next pitstop on the way to the White House.

After an exhaustive search, it seems that the best restaurant at your stop in Cape Girardeau seems to be a place called Grecian Steak House. It has a three and a half star review it should make for a decent meal after saying you were going to eat at some dumpy Milwaukee Dairy Queen. Look, you have to take a bite at Wendy's or at Philly cheese steak stand, but then you have to really eat.

Here is the address:

Grecian Steak House

2002 Plaza Way West
Cape Girardeau, Missouri 63701
ph: 573.334.8133

Your palates shouldn't suffer while you are out on the stump to gain the office you so richly deserve. -And if it costs a little more so what, the campaign is paying for it anyway.

Just trying to help.

Rush always talks about this Steak House on his show when asked.

Good one! What a pair the Kerry's are:

"Mama T" took the stage Wednesday. (was treated like a rock star at the gay and lesbian caucus)

This from an article on July 28 which contains this tidbit of Teresa at the DemonicRat Convention in Boston.

Give the Dork a nice seat in the Rush Room.

Ah, you know very little about Milwaukee dining. That would be Leon's Custard (a place that various pols, including President Bush, recommends) and Speedy Queen BBQ (they do a very mean BBQ, and by snubbing them, the Ketchup clan snubbed their party's base). Also, the Pieces of Eight, while the only private enterprise on the lake, is fine dining in name only (and I'm glad nobody told the Kerrys beforehand ;-)
