I am telling you all now that Kerry will withdraw his name within 30 days of the election.

Geez, I thought all that nonsense would end after the convention, but no...

Fifty bucks says that Hillary isn't the Democratic nominee.

"I am telling you all now that Kerry will withdraw his name within 30 days of the election. Hillary Clinton will step into the void."

That's not going to happen. The Hildabeast doesn't want to run this year. She wants Kerry to lose so she has the option of running for an empty seat in 2008.

IT- can you explain where they got this silly idea?

I'm not privy to the Swift vets' sources of financing, but I noticed that they stayed in a relatively inexpensive Comfort Inn when they came to DC for their May 4 press conference, and that a number of them drove a long way to get there.

Quite a contrast from Kerry's "Band of Brothers," who fly around the country on the campaign's nickel, dine in the finest restaurants and stay in 5-star hotels...

What I was trying to say is that I don't want to find out that any Republican donor helped financially in any way with this book and/or it's contents.
Yes out of 200 people there will be Republicans and people who know other people.
I just don't want to find out a Richard Mellon Scaife like character is involved.

I'm not so certain that Billy-boy and Hildebeast aren't behind this...

Whole lot easier for them in '08 if Bush is still in the White House

Right. Bill and Hillary are behind making Kerry behave as he did way back in Vietnam and Bill and Hillary are the ones behind John O'Neill taking on Kerry on the Cavett show then, and now Bill and Hillary are even behind hypnotizing hundreds of vets into thinking they are anti-Kerry and writing and speaking about it in order to further their own ends.

Give me a frigging break.

I'll take that bet.

It's Torricelli, Kerry-Style.

He will fall on his sword for the good of the country, and Hillary will run with no time for debates or faceoffs, etc..

That is what I thought. I also seem to remember O'Neill saying that they all financed themselves to go to the press conference.

Me neither. Based on what I've heard from O'Neill, I would bet that he's too smart to let any big partisan donor finance his book.

ADM Zumwalt also appeared with Kerry at a Swift Boat memorial dedication around 1992. He said some rather complimentary things, including that he would have nominated Kerry for the CMH, except it would have taken too long. I believe his later support of Kerry had more to do with pushing the Agent Orange issue (his late son's cause) than any real respect for Kerry. As has been indicated on this thread, when Zumwalt was in Vietnam, he thought Kerry was a loose cannon.

I predict that Kerry will invoke the name of John McCain in trying to ward off these attacks. He will say that they both have been attacked by GWB using these right wing groups. It is unfortunate that Ted Sampley, Vietnam Vets against John Kerry, has also taken on McCain. It is going to get very messy. I hope that the controversy will increase the pressure for Kerry to release his military records.

CBS reported today that Kerry is now one point ahead of Bush among veterans 48% to 47%. A week ago Bush was ahead 47% to 41% in the same poll. There is a lot at stake on this issue with about 30 million veterans in the electorate. The RNC will distance itself from this effort fearing the comparison of Bush's military service to Kerry's. It will be up to the surrogates to put the pressure on. Hopefully, the RNC will exploit Kerry's antiwar activities.

Looks as if zippo lighters should be the new anti kerry symbol. T-shits and posters everywhere. We need a zippo lighter to follow him around everywhere and see if kerry looses it.

Sorry, but I don't believe anything CBS says. There are so many ways to get the results they want from a poll. This new poll could be just an attempt to boost Kerry after he got no bounce from the Dem convention and appears to be losing momentum.

GWB faithfully leads our nation through the 9/11 national nightmare. Moore falsely accuses him of being a traitor who helped 9/11 along. John Kerry swears under oath that he committed war crimes.

Kerry hasn't helped himself either by constantly mentioning the time he spent in Vietnam. Now the chickens come home to roost.

The DNC has promised $100,000,000.00 in campaign financing beyond
the $75,000,000 the Kerry campaign has to spend on his election.
The DNC IS THE CLINTON ELECTION PHILANTHROPY WITH MCCAULIFFE as the director.
Why would the DNC announce that type of financing this election cycle.

"They hired a goddamn private investigator to dig up trash!" charged a top Kerry adviser traveling with the senator late Tuesday.

So does that mean this stuff is true or not??

The book is now #3 on Amazon.com.
I guess the mainstream press won't be able to ignore this book now.

BTW .. remember that video Kerry showed at the convention?

And how it was reported to be staged??

Well it's one thing to shoot bullets into the water for effect

But at one point Kerry .. or whoever .. blew something up

I replayed it a few times, but I wasn't sure what it was .. maybe a dock or something else
