No surprises here - it's all Bush's fault.
The Kerry campaign is planning to vigorously counter the charges and will accuse the veteran's groups of being well-financed by a top Bush donor from Texas, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
"They hired a goddamn private investigator to dig up trash!" charged a top Kerry adviser traveling with the senator late Tuesday. "This is pay for play, and the dirtiest of all dirty tricks ever played on a candidate for the presidency. How low can they go?"

I was wondering what Zumwalt thought about him. Do you have a reference where I can find that quote and possibly more.
Thanks

I'm guessing his superiors were happy to have him go...even though the Kerry campaign has only released selected records, the fools did release a fitrep that downgraded Kerry in INITIATIVE and LEADERSHIP!
He opened the door to this with all of his condescending "reporting for duty" bullshit. Can't wait to see how it goes.

One of the most disturbing trends in politics over the last 12 years has been the propensity of the Democratic Party to nominate certifiable screwballs (Clinton, Gore, Kerry) in presidential races.

"They hired a goddamn private investigator to dig up trash!" charged a top Kerry adviser traveling with the senator late Tuesday. Those dems sure love to go out of their way to break the Third Commandment. Just like that CNN balloon guy.

Democrats don't like it when facts get in their way. Kerry and his fellow nitwits haven't quite figured out yet why Kerry's "band of brothers" for the most part have every reason to hate his guts. Ex-Clinton devotees are shocked by the possibility that someone from the incumbent's camp would hire private eyes to investigate their guy. They're probably also pissed that the charges levelled attack Kerry (and what he claims to stand for) directly instead of seeking to inflict damage on Kerry supporters that attack Bush.

One of the best SNL skits ever:
Tales of the Arkansas Highway Patrol.
Clinton sitting in a patrol car while the trooper asks a girl to pick up a pencil..."No, bend at the waist."

These guys SERVED with Kerry.
And Drudge is about six months late on this story.

I heard a Mr. Steven Gardiner (sp?) who appeared on Michael Savage's radio show the other day. The guy served under Kerry on the swift boat. He mentioned that Kerry might have fired a grenade (not sure what type of launcher would be involved) at some rocks to receive his superficial wounds, for which he sought purple hearts. I'm not sure if they guy meant live grenades or disarmed grenades, which would still fragment upon impact with rock and throw some shrapnel around.
I hope these guys have info that can stand up to serious scrutiny, if they are willing to make these charges.

Mr. Kerry is a most unworthy man.

"The Kerry campaign is planning to vigorously counter the charges and will accuse the veteran's groups of being well-financed by a top Bush donor from Texas, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned".
Wonder if that alleged "Bush donor from Texas" has the financial footing of Soros and the Hollywood self-indulgent scum? Damn I love it when the libs start whining! If the charges against Kerry in this book are founded, we will only hear a whimper from these jerks. Not looking for the media to comment, but will bet that this disclosure will fire up the internet!!
To: Merry
First off....Kerry would have to have proof that they hired an investigator.
And that may only hurt him.....since it would show that someone actually dug this info up and it was not just baseless claim.

Drudge posts this graphic to his website to warn of a soon-to-be-breaking hot story.Thanks. I knew what ths siren on drudge is about. I was asking why are we posting it here. It may be news to Drudge but this is old news on FR.
Perhaps we should adopt a siren for FR Breaking News.
