President Bush signed the United States-Australia Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act today in a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden. Later in the day, Bush headed to speak at the 122nd Annual Knights of Columbus in Dallas, Texas. The President praised the group for its continued work with communities. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush, along with daughters Barbara and Jenna, greeted workers in New York City who work in buildings mentioned in the latest terror attacks. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

The dose has been a HAVEN for many of us....A great place to stop by after a loooooong days work...Almost always uplifting and definitely always supportive....My father refers to it as "the back yard fence" and always adds...America has a rather LARGE backyard. Isn't the Internet wonderful.

I check by almost every day. It's great to be able to see that other people think what I am thinking.
Plus, I love our President!

Welcome! I love your screen name. Did you see lovely Laura Bush on O'Reilly tonight? She didn't do or say anything bizarre like TuhRayza might have!

Much appreciated!
Are you coming to Columbus to see Mr. Prez on Thursday? I thought I read that today.
If so, I'm jealous!

thanks, I got the name fromThe Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The hobbit Pippin is my favorite character. I ignored the fact Pippin was a male character and took his name anyway :0)

Laura was awesome, a true lady, the contrast between her and tuhhhreeezuuuhh was staggering.I think she intimidated the usually robust and vocal o'Reilley.

Pippin is a great name no matter where it came from.
It has a nice ring to it!
I read the Lord of the Rings in school, but I've never seen any of the movies...oops...

It is the first time I have actually listened to a Laura Bush interview (being in England we do not see them apart from if there is something on CNN or Fox) and I must admit I was very impressed how she came over. Sincere gentle but strong and very natural and as much as she can be very open in answering the questions.

All in all I think you have a great first lady my thoughts and prayers are with you for 4 more years.

Thanks for that perspective that we don't get over here. It must be difficult to find favorable coverage of conservatives in the U.S. Thanks for your compliment to our First Lady too.

Well, I'll try this again! (My 'puter didn't post my first Thanks for the Dose, Rin. More great pics.

Laura was wonderful on O'Reilly. She was warm and down to earth. A STARK contrast between Laura and Terayyyyyyyyyyyza.

How are YOU?

I'm trying to hang in there. What's going to save me is visiting with my best friend from college next week. She'll be in Omaha visiting her mother-in-law--I have to "rescue" her for at least two days every time she comes, so we're going to scrapbook and do girl things. :-)

I missed the Dose yesterday--hubby forgot to pay the internet bill. GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR--but here are my stored up comments.

*Did you all hear that Terayyyzzaa went to Wendy's but didn't know what anything was, even with pictures? This is from Rush. Yeah, right, they're "one of us"
*John K., while in Michigan, was praising the Buckeyes (who, Ohio and others will tell you, are from OHIO!)
*Terrraaayyyzza told Bush supporters shouting "four more years" at her "husb's" speech, "That would be four more years of hell."
*and Kerry called them "Bush goons."

A huge contrast from our beautiful, graceful First Lady who even on O-Reilly wouldn't say a bad thing about either of them.

I was watching the interview with Laura Bush.

I'm surprised Bill O'Reilly was not harsh with her and I always admire her calmness and gentleness. combined with an inner strenght.
