But I've been thinking. Just suppose that this alert was a political thing by the Repubs? Let me say right now that I do NOT think this at all using my own good judgment and not that of Howard Dean. But do you argue with me that if the Dems and Repubs were switched places right now, with the Dems in power in a tight race, that Al Gore wouldn't be issuing terror alerts every other day depending on the political boost needed?
Maybe the Repubs decided that this year they would have to reduce themselves to cheater level in order to win. I mean look at all the dirty tricks the Dems have pulled! Lying books, traitorous movies, they have the help of Hollywood to deceive and spin the American public, the 9/11 commission spent millions and never did get to the right answer, which was congress slashing the intelligence budget in the early 90's and that cute trick about requiring all spies to be Boy Scounts. After you've been spun around and had it shoved to you, like Cheney cusses in private and it's chastised by the Dems in public.....I'm rambling but the laundry list of Dem tricks is long.
Let us not forget their time honored tradition of accusing the opposition of their crimes.
Whose to say they aren't accusing the Repubs of dirty tricks that THEY would do....and...maybe this time they are right?

The point is that the Kerry campaign has apparently been unsuccessful in muzzling him. If they don't want to, that is great news for us. If they can't, even better for us.
Next we will hear from Dean that the news that Scott Peterson ordered porn channels is timed (suspiciously) to detract from the Kerry Kampaign.
But the Pubs didn't need a boost right now. The DNC did that for them last week :-)

Matthews has turned into nothing more than a waterboy for the 'Rats.
I recently e-mailed Matthews and told him why I didn't watch his show anymore. He lost me when day after day spit all over his set about Joe Wilson and the Niger crap.
Has he had Wilson back on to answer the Senate Intel Committee report that shows Wilson lied? Matthews is pathetic!

IMHO, the Kerry camp WANTS Dean out there spewing. They can remain above it all but the looney tunes will be spouting this stuff on C-SPIN in the morning.
Matthews thinks the hottest news, now, is the discussion of the suspicious timing of the terror alert.
OF, even if Kerry distances himself from Dean voters will still associate him as an attack dog against President Bush and respond accordingly, IMHO.
