DFU SONG: University of Michigan Fight Song (yes, nitwit Kerry talked to them about the Buckeyes)
DFU SONGS | 8-2004 | Lyrics, Doug from Upland

MIDI - UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN FIGHT SONG - Hail to the Victors

In our campaign bus we've come to say help's on the way
We stole that line from Cheney but it's ours today
I have a strategy
Bush had lied, Bush had lied, Bush had lied

I am a mega sports fan
Next year I'll tell you my plan
My wife likes Wendy's french fries
Fight on, Buckeyes

I'm just a normal person
Warning how things could worsen
If you don't vote for me, then you'll get Hillary

"I will say this," he added. "There is nothing better than Buckeye football, period!" Kerry used this set piece several times in Ohio, to great effect, never mind the waffling with the generality of "Buckeye" football. Was he talking Ohio State University specifically? Or just football in the state in general? Only Kerry knows. But then Kerry dug a huge hole for himself. On Sunday and into Monday, Kerry hit Michigan, where he attempted to use the same Ohio jokes. Clearly, the sports humor has to be taken out of his hands before he really embarrasses himself.

Doug, you have no idea how much I detest that MSU song, and the so-called 'Buckeye' song! When you champion: "Cheer-Cheer for old Notre Dame", we'll be friends again! Aw-crap, we're always friends, pal. Stay well, bud...............FRegards

I agree. I'm from Plymouth and we never had any of AA's bullshit. UofM and AA have been the epicenter of the Midwest's contribution to liberalism.

As a Purdue grad, the only version of the UM fight song I know is completely unsuitable for printing at FR.

I just moved from Plymouth after 25 years! I have many relatives there, generations. Great place to be from.
