LOS ANGELES - While Nancy Reagan disagrees with President Bush's stance on limiting stem-cell research, the former first lady Nancy Reagan strongly endorses Bush's re-election bid.
"She's in full and complete support of President Bush's candidacy," Reagan spokeswoman Joanne Drake said Tuesday. "The campaign is certainly about more than one issue."

So much for having the Reagan name at the DNC convention. The fact of the matter is that Tutu Ronnie supported voting for stem cell research and not sKerry.
Whenever the mainstream media lets anything out that could remotely reflect favorably on Bush, it's Breaking News!!!
Thank you.
Now the story is in quote a reliable paper, and the story is from the AP.
Maybe some of your might want to continue your discussion with the anti Nancy freeper from last night.
I am guessing the Admin moderators might pull this because it is a re-post to save bandwidth. Original post is from Newsmax in Breaking News by Kattracks.
They should leave it on due all the hissy fits from a couple of freepers who don't like Nancy and News Max.
It'll stay up and under BREAKING news,
unless or until someone complains.
At that point, we counter complain!
For your ping lists.

"I'm not sure he'll be happy unless Mrs. Reagan wrestles, skins, and makes 30 pair of shoes from ten alligators, while buying airtime on four major netowrks to publicly apologize to him, personally, for not doing cartwheels across the stage at the Republican Convention."
Definitely the comment of the day if not the week.
You did a great job yesterday! That is why you and the others with you were at the top of my ping list to this thread.
Thanks for the ping!
Only a nitwit would think Nancy Reagan would support Dork and Doofus.
Nancy is a classy, smart woman (like nearly ALL Republican and Conservative women!, and carefully guards RR's legacy. Compare Mrs. Dork and Mrs. Doofus to Laura, Barbara and Nancy - particularly Lynne - that 'mind picture' will make you smile.
The Dems are worried about those wives, too. Rush had a female caller today (the infamous Ingrid) and her first area of attack was Laura...she spends her time telling kids to READ...why doesn't she teach her HUSBAND proper ENGLISH...and my favorite, she LOOKS STUPID.
My sides, my sides. After that fiasco of a speech in Boston they want to paint Laura as stupid? And I notice Ingrid didn't dare utter Lynne's name...heh he heh.
To quote 'someone': BRING IT ON!
I went back and checked out the thread from yesterday. Wow, that guy sounds like he thinks Nancy owes him something personally.
I sincerely doubt Nancy is out of the worst of her grief yet, if she'll ever be. For some to criticize her as having a lack of class for not rushing to a stage is itself the epitome of tastelessness.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my infrequent miscellaneous ping list.
I guess the media isn't thrilled with her decision to support GW. Their lies didn't last too long in this case.
People might be interested how Doug Thompson of Capitol Hill Blue got caught in another lie where he tried to stab GW in the back. Also, a couple of Freepers tried to trash Nancy Reagan last night on the thread below:

In a statement made Monday to NewsMax.com, Nancy Reagan said she was strongly endorsing President Bush's re-election and rejected a published Internet report that she was not backing his re-election.
Joanne Drake, the chief of staff for former President Ronald Reagans office in Los Angeles, said in a statement on behalf of the former first lady, Mrs. Reagan supports President Bushs re-election 150 percent. Published reports have suggested that Mrs. Reagan was unhappy with President Bush for his opposition to taxpayer-funded stem cell research that kills human embryos, which Mrs. Reagan has supported after her husbands long bout with Alzheimers disease.
Mrs. Reagans son Ron spoke last week at the Democratic National Convention. He indicated that his mother supported his speech and that she was unhappy with the Bush administration for its stand on embryonic stem cell research.
Ron Reagan gave an implicit endorsement to the Kerry-Edwards ticket, which supports taxpayer funding of that type of research, when he told his national audience, Whatever else you do come Nov. 2, I urge you, please, cast a vote for embryonic stem cell research.
Drake, however, noted in her statement on behalf of Mrs. Reagan, I think everyone would understand that while she may not agree with the president on every issue, this campaign is more than just one issue its about leadership, and she believes that President Bush is the right man for the job.
Mrs. Reagans statement came on the heels of a report published Friday on the Web site capitolhillblue.com.
That story, headlined "Nancy Reagan to Bush: 'We Don't Support Your Re-Election,'" quoted a spokesman for Mrs. Reagan as telling the site, "Mrs. Reagan does not support President Bushs re-election and neither do most members of the Presidents family."
Drake also denied the Web sites claim that Mrs. Reagan told Republican leaders she wanted nothing to do with the party or President Bush, or that she "went ballistic" when she learned the Bush campaign was test marketing ads that used Reagans photos and speeches in an effort to show he supported Bush and his re-election.
Capitolhillblue.com also claimed that Mrs. Reagan called Republican Party chief Ed Gillespie to demand the ads be destroyed.
The quote that appeared in Capitol Hill Blue is incorrect, Drake said on behalf of Mrs. Reagan. Further, I do not know where the information came from [indicating that] the former first lady went ballistic when she read the Bush campaign was test marketing new ads. She did not speak to Ed Gillespie on the telephone and demand the ads be destroyed ...
By endorsing President Bushs re-election, Mrs. Reagan joins President Reagan elder son, Michael, who has already announced his strong support for the president's re-election. Michael will be speaking at the GOP convention in New York.
