You've heard people blast the "Religious Right" before, but Barry Lynn really lets it fly. America, he says, is threatened by "radical religious fundamentalists." These people are "bullies," "dangerous zealots," "extremists who despise pro-choice advocates, working mothers, gay-rights supporters and everybody else who departs from their narrow views." They're "smug," "sneering," "arrogant," "tyrannical," "self-righteous," "bigoted," "hate-filled" and-well, you get the picture.
So just who is Barry Lynn, and why should you care what he says?

This guy isn't even a "reverend" in quotes. He's a joke.
Barry Lynn typifies the "tolerant-preaching, intolerant-acting" liberal...
Lynn went into the debate thinking that he was debating an uneducated redneck and that Lynn would crush him with critical scholarship.
White humiliated Lynn with his superior technical knowledge of Greek and his extensive study of the culture of Biblical times.
Lynn was so incensed by his flimsy case being so decisively demolished that he sued White to stop him from posting an unexpurgated transcript of the debate.
White only recently won the case.

Excellent summary of what has happened to so many of our Christian churches and organizations in the past two decades.
"No, they're Christians who accept the moral teachings that were universally taught by Christianity until about 20 years ago. As for despising those who disagree with one's views, Lynn seems as guilty of that as anyone. More liberal "projection."

Who is Barry Lynn? Just another grade A a--hole masquerading as a Christian, sort of like Bill Clinton. Just because you have a "Rev" in front of your name doesn't mean much--think of Jesse Jackson.
You're probably thinking of one of the following porn "actresses": Ginger Lynn, Amber Lynn, Shonna Lynn, Giselle Lynn or Porsche Lynn. They all look better in bathing suits than this faygelah, IMO.
If Barry Lynn is a true "Reverend", then I'm the Pope! Hmmm, wonder if he's a reverend in the "Church of the Poison Mind"........(sorry Boy George). *~*

The Bible states that you will know when the end times are near when right is looked at as wrong and moral is thought of as immoral. (paraphrased) I think we are near those times.
If his dreams come true, someday Lynn will destroy the First Ammendment.
