MILWAUKEE Thousands of supporters of John Kerry cheered the Democratic presidential candidate in a riverside park Monday night, overcoming a heckling pro-Bush contingent with the chant ``three more months.
The pro-Bush hecklers chanted ``four more years.
``They want four more years of hell, quipped Theresa Heinz Kerry during her speech, to a roar from the Dem audience. Then she led them in a chant of ``three more months.
As to his wifes quip, Kerry said: ``She speaks her mind, and she speaks the truth. And shes quick on her feet.

The Kerry supporters are idiots, all of them.
You know, I only saw a brief clip, but I didn't see the people attending roaring their approval of her comment by any means. And when she started chanting "three more months," everyone just seemed kind of puzzled. I wonder what other people who saw the tape thought... maybe I didn't see enough of it? Because the media would never slant the coverage, right?
After that quip, The Bush supporters should have started chanting, "SHOVE IT!" to Theresa.
"Mama-T" is hiding her Thorzin pills under her tongue again. DNC might consider injectibles from now on.
But I thought teRAYzzza was blissfully Republican until just two years ago, when the satanic GOP decided to question the patriotism of Max "Butterfingers" Cleland?
I can't believe she would lie about this . . .
Now that would have been perfect!
She lies to reporters -- and that's on the record.
In another 3 months Momma T can go back to aiding the Terrorists in her TIDES foundation and get out of our face.
LOL
The whole dim party is filled with liars!
Oh, I hope you are right!
Scary Terry Kerry strikes again!
"... although her natural position is a more horizontal one, of course..." :)
Max Cleland is the ONLY person responsible for his injuries. He did NOT check his equipment; he did not secure a live grenade, and left it attached to his vest. When it dislodged from its attach-point, Max was injured by a blast from his own weapon.
Do I feel sorry for this man. YES! Is he a "WAR HERO"? NO!
LLS
Did anybody hear what the turnout was?
I'm starting a db that'll track turnout at rallies, etc for Scary/Edwards and W/Dick.
I heard there were over 15,000 in Grand Rapids.
We should start yelling "TEREZZA'S DRUNK"
A Kerry supporter attempted to raise a pro-Kerry sign in the midst of about 100 Bush supporters on a bridge to the south of the park. Immediately following that, a Kerry supporter attempted to knock a Bush-Cheney campaign sign into the water.

Who is desperate? The article says that the Bush HECKLER'S are desperate? What a joke.
Kerry also acknowledged the hecklers at one point, calling them "goons." And Kerry supporters once again chanted ``three more months. Answered Kerry: ``Sounds good to me.
When Mrs. Kerry was speaking a scuffle occurred. A Kerry supporter attempted to raise a pro-Kerry sign in the midst of about 100 Bush supporters on a bridge to the south of the park. Immediately following that, a Kerry supporter attempted to knock a Bush-Cheney campaign sign into the water. Police on horseback broke up the scuffle. The Milwaukee Police Department declined to comment on if any arrests were made.
Kerry and his wife came to Milwaukee from Muskegon, Mich. on a new high-speed ferry for the early evening rally at Pere Marquette Park in downtown Milwaukee. On Tuesday, theyre scheduled to be in Beloit.
John Nusbaum, a Vietnam vet from the Green Bay area, introduced Mrs. Kerry, and called himself a ``third-generation Republican (who) voted three times for man named Bush. He said Kerry was a man of ``integrity. Nusbaum is a former De Pere mayor.
Kerry knocked Bush for trying to ``stonewall the 9-11 commission. ``We need leadership that makes us safe, he said.
And one of Kerrys biggest reactions came when he spoke to the need for energy independence.
``No young American in uniform should ever be held hostage to our dependence on foreign oil in the Middle East, Kerry said. ``I want American energy to come from Americas ingenuity and creativity, not from the Saudi royal family.
U.S. Sens. Herb Kohl and Russ Feingold were in attendance. Kerry praised them as ``independent-thinking politicians who have fought against the influence of money in Washington, D.C. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett also was acknowledged by Kerry.
``Wisconsin is at the center of the election this year. If we win the state, we will win the election, Kohl said.
Audience reaction was markedly positive for Kerry.
I thought it was inspiring and motivating. The energy of the crowd just added to it, said Dave Winslow, 57 of Madison.
Mike Bertrand, 56, also of Madison, said he was also pleased with Kerrys speech and commented on the pro-Bush protesters saying, I think theyre desperate. I think they sense (the election) is slipping away.
Bertrands daughters also attended. Lydia Bertrand, 27, was most moved while joining the crowd shouting back at the pro-Bush hecklers. Eve Bertrand, 22, said she thought the pro-Bush hecklers were very rude and inappropriate. Both were pleased with the music played by rock musician Dave Grohl of the "Foo Fighters" before Kerry spoke.
For Inez Mosley, 57 of Glendale, Kerrys message on creating new jobs impressed her the most, but thought that overall Kerrys speech was very informative. He talked about a lot of things of concern to the public.
