1. Too many do discount her power and popularity. She would be a fierce foe against any contender. Deal with it. She has the machine, the money, and the influence.
2. The Kerry-Edwards situation caused me to re-think it. Edwards was encouraged by Bill C to stay in the primaries as long as possible. Kerry wins. Kerry and Bush are neck and neck. What is the benefit of a Kerry win for Hillary? The only thing I can think is---she is supporting Kerry because the fix is in: If Kerry wins, Hillary, for her support of Kerry, is assured the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. [Talk about that being sKerry and scary.]
