Question: As for rifles, sir, if someone had a choice between a nice lever-action 30-30 with iron sights, and a clean Yugoslav SKS M59, each costing about $200, which one should be chosen?
Assume this would be a second or third rifle, and that this rifle is to be for bringing along hunting and camping in the mountains, as well as plinking and, of course, the practical defense of self and others.
