Note that airport workers can bypass security.

In the late 1970's, I worked as a summer job (during college) for Wackenhut Security in a variety of postings. ONE of those postings was at a large international airport. I could go anywhere in the airport, no limits, even right onto the ramps. I don't know the limits currently put on security guards, but I'll bet it's not much.

In Sydney, an imam who has recently been charged with inciting jihad and collecting money for terrorist activities, was previously employed as a baggage handler for a major airline in Australia.
