I think that "joe" is alarmed at the PERCEIVED tendency of many here to lump all of Islam together into the militant category. I guess most of us have posted here so long that we no longer qualify our statements; WE know that we are talking about radical violent extremism.
I do not profess hatred of all of Islam, but I find myself battling feelings of hatred for those who seek to kill us for our freedom. What percentage of Muslims ascribe to radical Wahhabist beliefs? I don't know. I am sorting through my notes for the name of a man I saw on Fox Friday; he gave an alarming number that I do not want to repeat until I can check further to make sure I do not misquote his opinion.
NO> What Joe is alarmed at is an educated Christian taking issue with false propaganda aimed at making folks thing the only difference between Islam and Christianity is nomenclature.
He is also alarmed that someone saw through the islamic disguise. Joe is no Christian and neither are the few that are "defending" him from being called out on his propaganda that "we are all the same except our language."
It's a lie and the [so far 3..one is suspiciously another newbie] people that have defended him know it.
I'm glad to see the majority here have not been deceived.
If it's the same man I saw on Fox, it's Kamal Nawash, and his belief is that the figure is closer to 50%, rather than the 10% that is often stated...is that what you heard?
Yes Wahhabism is one thing, extremism is one thing, but Islam followed by the Koran etc is still Hate-filled...now I wouldn't lump say Arabs in one group, of course there are good Arabs, ME's but to say the Nation of Islam is about peace as a blanket policy, blah!
