The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

NEW YORK - Police searched trucks, blocked streets and posted machine-gun toting officers outside financial landmarks Monday, a day after the government's chilling warning that terrorists might target the buildings with bombs.

Actually, music is forbidden to strict Muslims because it is considered to be a distraction from the Koran and from deriving satisfaction from traditional things like their families.

The penalty for strict muslims who listen to music is having molten gold poured into their ears in Paradise.

You'll notice that alot of their "music" is keening or wailing ... that is acceptable.

Sounds like lib-uh-rhuls. You can have music, as long as you don't enjoy it.

Right now there is a lib-uh-rhul getting up from a fitful night's attempt at sleep. A sleep interrupted by the persistent nagging thought that someone somewhere is enjoying themselves...

Good Morning TMers. Checking in. No unusual activity to report from the Reston, Va. area. At least none that I've seen. Hope it stays that way.

Homemade Bomb Explodes Outside Athens

Wednesday August 4, 2004 4:01 PM

ATHENS, Greece (AP) - A homemade bomb exploded Wednesday near an electrical substation outside the Greek capital, causing damage but no injuries, officials said.

Authorities said it was not immediately clear if there was a link between the blast and the Olympics, which open here next week amid unprecedented security.

The device, which police say was made with a cooking gas canister and a triggering fuse, exploded in the bathroom of a building near a substation in the town of Metamorphosi, 6 miles north of Athens. No electrical facilities were damaged, a government official told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

According to the official, the culprits broke the bathroom window and dropped the device inside. The damage was discovered by an employee of the state power company.

Adequate power for the Olympics became a serious issue after a July 12 blackout that hit the Greek capital and much of southern part of the country.

Homemade explosive devices are frequently set off by anarchist groups and others in Greece, often targeting banks, businesses and diplomatic vehicles. The attacks are mostly carried out at night and rarely cause injuries.

Ummm, wait a bit! I got that wrong!

I *think* 6 Aug 8:15 AM Hiroshima IS 5 Aug 8:15 PM New York.

Now I'm confused. Anyone out there with more active brain cells or caffine on board???

Construction equipment could be an isotope source used to "X-Ray" weldments on the job site. That would explain any lead shielding.

Does this incident give the nuke scenario from a few weeks back any credibility? Someone did mention to watch for dead fish to be washing up, now here they are.

Not unless someone has invented a special type of nuke that only effects the atlantic croaker, prevents the dead fish from deteriorating for more than two weeks, and reverses the direction of the Gulf Stream current. But I'm sure that won't stop some people from using the dead fish as proof of the nuke story.

There's a thirteen hour time difference between NYC and Hiroshima.

Yes, I noticed that a copy of the Daniel Pearl video had been uploaded to the files folder of the abualbukhary.net site. Strange.
