The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Another thing, that accusation is ridiculous on it's face. President Bush needs for the economy to be in good shape come election time. Why would he risk taking a hit to the economy and spend all that extra money on security to prove he's the man when it comes to fighting terror? He has absolutely nothing to prove on this issue -- Kerry does. Shame on the media for aiding and abetting that loser in his campaign smear.

I could be wrong, but I read between the lines of that briefing that we have no real clue yet how many jihadi cell members are here awaiting the go signal. The authorities have no one identified as part of this current threat and that is why the is unprecedented security at key sites. They do not know who to surveill themselves at this point.

Or, it could be that they are already trailing some ops here and are lying in wait to take as many down all together as possible...This latter scenario is more comforting.

Either way it is difficult puzzle work when al qaeda is effectively compartmentalized. We can't get info about attack steps 2 and 3 from an operative who only knows the details of his involvement in attack step 1.

Yes, and their religion is the fuel here since they put complete faith in allah. They believe allah wants them to attack. U.N operations by 800% !!

Ask yourself: Is THIS the person you want as President of
these United States providing for the Common Defense of
the Nation and be the Leader of the Free World ?

I logged off before I got a chance to see her question.

I'm a Customs Inspector at JFK.

I can tell you that there is a great deal of material entering our port in the Cargo facilities.

We cannot check all of it.

We do the best we can with the available personnel on hand.

I would continue to stock up on all the essential items.

The sophistication of Passport and Visa forgery is amazing.

It is often difficult to see the difference between the real and fake ones.

INS is having a hell of a time.

How many have been able to sneak in before the rules became a bit more stringent???,

How many continue to do so???, I will leave that up to you guys.

You still haven't told us what the "other half" of it is. You're inferring that you have specific information - that there's a specific threat we're not being told of. Can you elaborate?

I'm very concerned about the police not taking the GW bridge video taping seriously and I'm still thinking of nuke in regards to these sites. The height of that bridge in a detonation on the east side of it would allow for some serious destruction and fallout dispersal.

There is a way to walk across that bridge too. It is a double decker across to the palisades and a huge bus terminal empties into it along with regular traffic. They had better canvas all the passengers well.

I am also concerned about the schoolbus with tinted windows BOLO on I81 in PA but it should be easily spotted by helicopter.

Self preservation is the reason I always wear spike high heels when I have flown since 9/11. I consider them as a weapon that I could use to kick someone, or take off and hit someone in the eyes/head. I also try to wear a good leather belt and have a pocketbook with a detachable thick leather strap.

I wouldnt't be the first to instigate a situation if I felt threatened; but if some ME goons started procedures to take down a flight that I was on I would want to at least attempt to help take them out. After reading the recent in-flight hi-jinks that occured with the Syrian musicians; it is important to think ahead what you could personally use to protect yourself if an incident occured mid-flight.

Something to remember; it only takes about 8 lbs. of pressure to rip an ear off. Grab at the top and pull sharply down.
