The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

to be covered up by a flatter material that may
have shifted in position in picture #2.
The dynamic range and lighting make it difficult to say more.

Six individuals could represent as many as six cells being notified.

A coordinated operation involving up to six groups in a regional area

Each of the six phone calls could have been to a different handler... six handlers who each call six cells... etc. (Like a phone tree - Each person calls X number of people, which gets the word out fast.) I doubt the guy in Pakistan had the master list that goes directly to the operatives. There are probably a few more layers of "couriers" of info between the Pakistan guy and the operatives... which could raise the number of activated cells exponentially.

Also, Bojinka was a plan for 10 airplanes to blow up mid-air simultaneously. Sept. 11 was only four groups. But it was supposed to be more. We don't know (but LE probably does) whether there was supposed to be a mid-West wave of attacks, and a West Coast wave of attacks... And we never heard the end of the story about the MEs on a train bound for Dallas (because flights were cancelled) who had box cutters.

Bin Laden has said 9-11 was equivalent to the tip of his finger and the next attack would be equivalent to his whole finger. So, IMHO, a coordinated set of 20 or 100 or more attacks would not surprise me at all.

Al-Arabiya TV reports Saudi forces arrest most wanted terrorist

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) -- An Arab television station said Thursday that Saudi police have arrested the kingdom's most wanted terrorist.

Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya station reported late Thursday that police captured Faris Ahmed Jamaan Al Showeel al-Zahrani in Abha, 500 miles southwest of the capital, Riyadh.

The station did not provide a source to its report. The Associated Press made repeated attempts to contact Saudi officials for confirmation but no one was available for comment.

Saudi authorities released a list of 26 most wanted terrorists following a series of bombings in Riyadh on May 12, 2003, that killed 26 people. On Nov. 8, another suicide attack on a Riyadh housing compound killed 17 people. About half of those on the most wanted list have either been killed or captured.
