Basically, yes. This one is the baby of the one they couldn't identify earlier. Mamma was something like hairless (versus 70 percent for this one) and the available pics were Godawful.

The dead one was pretty much hairless. Hairless animals often look quiet different than their usual fur-covered form. Those hairless cats, for example, look pretty freaky.

Well, they are pretty rarely seen in these parts, and all people had to look at were some pretty grainy pictures like those I posted above.
