Kerry's negative convention bounce...
I hope the Pubbies have a good plan in place to counter any NJ type "Torch" moves by the Dems, say like replacing Kerry with a different candidate between now and Nov.
This is just the beginning of the trend of Democrats rejecting the liberals and supporting President Bush. The Democrats need to remember it not unpatriotic or unethical to switch alliances if that's closer to what they believe in. I just can't believe that most Democrats can be that far to the left like Kerry and Edwards? Their party is crumbling before their feet and I believe most Democrats are now seeing it.
We're melting......melting!!
Rep. Kahn accused of taking GOP fliers
Dane Smith, Star Tribune
July 23, 2004 KAHN0723
State Rep. Phyllis Kahn, a 32-year veteran from Minneapolis and a key figure in the DFL House caucus, was stopped by New Hope police earlier this week after a citizen complained that she was removing a Republican House member's campaign literature from doorsteps and replacing it with a DFL opponent's material.
The case has been referred to the Anoka County attorney's office for possible charges, officials said.
I don't give a hoot about the polls at this point, after all the Republicans haven't had their convention, and the debates are yet to come.
BUT, every elected Democrat or previously "famous" Dem that openly supports Bush will have a major impact, IMHO.
Each of these Dems were elected by Dems and they will have influence int he minds of the voters that elected them. Influence that would not be otherwise felt by the Bush campaign alone.
A ten point bump for either candidate based upon one or two politicians' comments is highly suspect and almost certainly worthless.
Anyone else out there hear a loud FLUSHING sound in the Johns' Department???....:)
Anyone know what the record negative bounce is? I think this one may get up there. The other Democrats better watch out who they make alliances with or they may be booted out.
**Miller went on to assert that most Georgian democrats support his views that President Bush is taking and will take the war on terror seriously.**
This is so encouraging!
Last Friday I predicted that Kerry would drop four or five points by the weekend/Monday.
Where do I collect my prize?
But, but the rats are claiming their initial 4 pt bump were 20% of the undecided vote so they're going to win. And they have pretty hair.
Yes, reality is starting to set in. Kerry's fantasyland of being president, despite TerAYsa's having bought him a big, big plane almost as big as Air Force One, and having painted the nose blue and printed John F. Kerry for president...on the side, is collapsing with a blat like the sound of a giant whoopie cushion. Kerry 'doesn't pay attention to polls'. Uh huh. He's in freefall with no net. He'll end up in China. There's no way voters will vote for a fool who says he'll tell you what he plans to do as president once he gets there. This is ludicrous. Who's on his staff? Sandy Bergler just resigned, well, Kerry had better get him back fast.
Even though Kerry and Edwards tried hard at the convention to look mainstream, I really believe the more moderate and conservative democrats were frightened by the speakers. I am really starting believe Bush may have some Bush democrats that will quietly vote for him rather than the alternative.
NJ style replacement? rodham/cliton (P/VP) ticket?
