If John F*****g Kerry thinks his "4 months and I'm outa here" Vietnam service is going to get him any traction among those of us that did the full 12 months and counted ourselves luck to go home (not early and with a boxful of questionably earned medals but rather with no extra holes in our bodies and no thanks from our country when we got back), he's got another think coming. And if he thinks we are somehow going to forget the slimy people he associated himself with after he returned and slanderous allegations he made about the armed forces, he's got about a hundred thinks coming.
Just in case there are any questions out there, here's my Vietnam and military service bona fides: 3rd Bn, 26th Marines, I Corps, RVN (1968-1969); USMC 1967 to 1990.
Besides the danger that this phoney will be believed and possibly elected (though I don't think he will get elected) his phoney purple hearts and silver and bronze stars denigrate the guys who really earned decorations.
