To a large degree I would say yes. We like our Christianity mega-buffet style - pick and choose what you want and add a little extra on the side. And all the "church growth" industries and "how to" seminars remind me too much of franchise planners. The church presented in the Bible is a much simpler and much more precious organization than our current church-is-a-building mentality allows us to understand. See where Christianity is really growing and making an impact? See who has the most money in their churches? They are not the same groups.

We've just had plenty of time to be lulled to sleep by propaganda and philosophy. There is much out there which pretends at Christianity and the world doesn't always know the difference. There are a great many cult groups, for example, which the larger press views to be just as Christian as the pentecostals - Jehovah's wittnesses and Mormons are among them. There is a reason that antichrist (in place of Christ) will be able to nearly decieve the elect (if it were possible) - the devil's false church looks so much like the real thing on the surface, that even Christians sometimes don't realize the difference. Prophecy is prophecy. We should expect this. And though we can't stop prophecy from being fulfilled, we can seek God's will in serving Him while it happens. Frauds who can't stand up to inspection against what the Apostles told us cannot be allowed to lead people astray without a fight.

It's by far better that we are a nation of Christians than considered a "Christian nation".

I think you are making a very large swish of the paintbrush here. The Catholic Church has stood faithfully against abortion, euthenasia, homosexuality when it was unpopular to do so.

Yes it has. As a christian myself and seeing even in US churches greed is real problem. In foreign nations many churches do not even have buildings to meet in, there are tens of thousands that meet in tents, outdoors or stadiums and forego building a building, they just love Jesus.

I am so grateful to be a part of this last great revival, and it is just beginning and the devil can't stop it. The problem is if America doesn't get on board, loads will die without salvation because of our political correctness and trying to stifle talk that leads to salvation.

Too bad the powerful men in the mental health field convinced them that to have real power they had to shed their habits,both clothes and prayer,and "actualize" themmselves. Not only did they lose their good influence,they started emitting PALE GAS themselves.
