Looks like the Atlanta Journal and Constipation can't even write the story right. The radio this morning said it is 1 Million dollars.

"Did I read that right? Suing for 1 US dollar??

A doctor, an engineer, and a lawyer were stranded on a desert island. As it happened, there was an emergency radio beacon on a buoy offshore, but the waters were infested with deadly, man-eating sharks.

"It can't be done!" cried the doctor. "The human body can't take the cold, the waves and the sharks! I'm not going!"

"It's impossible!" cried the engineer. "Under those conditions, you would fail and die! I'm not going!"

The lawyer shrugged, stripped off his coat and dropped his briefcase, swam out through the sharks, triggered the beacon, and swam back. Two hours later, they were all on a plane home, huddling in dry blankets and drinking hot coffee. The other two turned and stared at the smiling lawyer.

"How did you do it?" demanded the doctor. "Those sharks should have torn you to pieces! Why didn't they attack?"

"Professional courtesy," replied the lawyer.

I think that in some courts if you have to sue for damages to also allow you to sue for attorney's fees. It's just a technicality Maybe they want Moore to pick up their legal bill, too.
