Would Paint Your Wagon be considered a cult film?
Despite its director, in addition to The Princess Bride, of course, I also like Creator, The Sure Thing ("Who invented liquid soap and why?"), and The Big Labowski. And some of the other ones already named here.

Would Paint Your Wagon be considered a cult film? I love that film. Do you remember "Yours , mine & our's?" I'm sure that does not qualify as a "cult classic" but the timing reminds me of it. (childhood) I loved that film.
