Well, I got some wrong info then.

I remember distinctly reading that Hennepin County was less liberal than Ramsey County..........but I don't know how to come up with the article.

Do you have stats on the 2000 election regarding the two counties?

That's because Hennepin County, although having Minneapolis, Brooklyn Center and Richfeild, also has suburban conservative bastions such as Edina, Saint Louis Park (Western, not Eastern) and Eden Prarie and has rual (Although not so rual anymore) towns such as Rockford.

Hennepin County is huge and includes a lot of Republican areas on it's South, West, and North. As a whole the county is about 55% DFL and 45% GOP.
