Funny thing is I look at Webster's definition of desert and it says: to leave in the lurch
Lurch...is that prophetic or what?
If this was Atari, the screen would be nearing "game over" for the liberals.
GOP winning!!!
Anybody have a pic of Norm....???
Cheers for the mayor of my hometown.
>St. Paul Mayor Kelly Supports Bush for Re-election
Guess he was watching the Dem Convention!
His comments are very similar to former NYC Mayor Ed Koch's remarks. Koch says that he disagrees with Bush on 100% of the domestic issues, BUT, the War trumps everything else.
Yeee hawww!
Randy Kelly vetoed a no-smoking ban. He is for lower taxes.
He is pro-business. A couple of left-wing radio hosts on am1500 have been pushing him to support Kerry. So I am gald to see him supporting the President. Am1500 delayed Rush an hour for these idiot liberal's.
Good news!
There are a few good democrats out there. This man appears to be one of them.
As an orthodox Lutheran and a cultural/socal conservative, I've had it up to HERE with "St. Paul values"!!!! The St. Paul area synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is one of the most culturally and theologically liberal synods in our church. It includes a notorious "ordained" lesbian named Anita Hill, and quite a few other pastors and congregations that back the gay and feminazi agenda TO THE MAX!!!! Now their neighbors in Minneapolis have "ordained" another gay "pastor", Jay Wiesner. None of these "ordinations" are authorized by our church, but the liberals get away with them, as well as "blessing" gay "unions", etc. This is all designed to destroy the noble tradition of Christian orthodoxy in the Lutheran church, and replace it with postmodern nonsense and gaysbian perversion!!!!
What is going on in Lutheranism in the Twin Cities (where Lutheranism has been especially strong, in terms of numbers) cannot occur in a vaccuum. "St. Paul values", even among non-Lutherans, must be similarly hyper-liberal.
The St. Paul Democratic mayor who now supports Bush did not mention the issue of "values". (However, the party spokesperson did.) However, I am gratified that he decided to go against the wacko hyper-liberals in his city and region.
And a bump!
The mayor of Westminister, CA changed her party from Democrat to Republican.
This is hometown to many proud Vietnamese-Americans, who are majority Republicans.
This woman mayor said dems aren't the same party as when she joined 54 years ago.
