I just got back from a trip past one of the targets mentioned in today's press conference . . .

Without going into much detail, I'll just post one key observation here. From the looks of it (and from the actions of LEOs on the scene), I'd say it doesn't seem as if the "specific threat" involves a car or truck bomb.

I'm really itching to know about the exact nature of this threat.

Good point there.

I read this afternoon on Yahoo News something to the effect that car and truck bombs are the hardest to control. I think it was a quotation by Ridge. Now, why would he say that? Why would he want the terrorists to know this? Perhaps it's a ruse or misinformation to counfound the terrorists? I hope so. I hate to think it could be something more catastrophic.

Interesting report. Local evening news just indicated Tampa airport security has been increased to orange too.
