Chances are high now that they will choose different targets.
Excellent point! Another FReeper mentioned churches, like St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC, after what happened in Iraq today. I hope they secure other financial institutions, and/or other communities with high concentrations of financial institutions. A good example is my hometown of Wilmington, DE, which is smack in-between NYC and DC. There are A LOT of credit card companies based there. In fact, the movie Fight Club took place in the Wilmington, DE area (though the city wasn't named).

It's impossible to seal our borders. It's why we took the war to the terrorists where we can kill them in huge numbers. Doesn't mean they won't come here of course, but there's really no way to keep them out, imo.

That, and "I aim to please, ma'am" is something of a cliché.

I think if they can't get to where they want, they will go elsewhere,,philadelphia, boston, chicago, baltimore.

Yep. They just recently caught the Egyption smuggling muslims into the U.S. through Mexico. How many have they not caught?

when I see the truck stop and searches being done at the bridges and tunnels - that's high orange, I suspect I will start seeing that Monday.
I came into NYC on a Monday afternoon about two weeks ago - every bus and truck going through the Holland tunnel was being stopped and inspected - so I'm guessing that's already been happening for a while now.

Hey, you must realise that he's on a cross-country bus tour for his campaign. He can't be bothered with these briefings unless of course they are one of the stops on his trip. He'll catch up....sooner or later.

I'm a little nervous sitting in Charlotte right now. Wachovia and Bank of America are both based here.

I only hope that everyone is aware of what the mosques here preach on Fridays.
