One suspects the rat confessed to his parents. We can hope he told his parents, because if he told his doctors, it won't be admissable--according to Fox News legal talking heads.

I guess this means they know where the body is. Why will the police have to work through the night to determine what's going on. Just ask what Mark told them, and have them answer.

Not sure if you're on any "ping lists" for this story. Here's a piece with a wee bit more info.

Maybe we can all hope if he did admit to the Dr, the Dr will say "naw....he said it to them...yea, thats the ticket."

This is his chance to finally make it right and get off the crooked path he's been on for a long time and just face the music and try to act like a decent human being instead of a monster. Not that it will bring Lori back, but it's his chance to start telling the truth and facing reality.

If he's still posturing and maneuvering to beat the rap, then except for being kind to the families so they can have closure (and maybe give Lori a decent burial), he's gonna morph into some other form of scum of the earth.

Please add me to your ping list.

According to another thread a poster said he was drunk. Has this been confirmed?

hopefully; unless he told them he cut her up in little pieces and spread the pieces across several miles in a canyon.

It would be a mistake not to locate the body. A Geragos-type lawyer would find a way to exonerate the killer even given a confession of guilt.

Thanks MizS.

I just hope he confessed to his parents, told them where to find the body and copped a plea for lots of psych/prison time.

Spare both families a trial, save the state the money, allow Lori to be put to rest and him to be locked away for a long, long time.

I wonder if his family enticed him to come clean on what happened.

how many hours did he have from the time he killed her till he reported her missing? Twelve? That was enough time to drive out to the boonies with the body, "hack" her up, and then drive for miles, distributing little pieces of her here and there for the coyotes and vultures to finish off.

Sure. I didn't see any other thread on this. Sometimes it was hard to find any thread on this. I had to do a search each day just to find the latest info. Strange when you consider that some were complaining that there were too many.

I'll ping you if I see anything new.

Frankly, I would be surprised if he was being entirely straightforward. I do hope he told all, and that he told it to his family rather than his doctors. What sort of irritates me is that he let this go on for so long--those poor searchers, volunteers and paid alike! Going through the landfill when they didn't need to should be punishable by burying him up to his ears in the same landfill!!

I've added you to my little ping-list. Maybe we should all set one up, and alert the rest of us when we find such a thread, or post one for that matter.
