how many hours did he have from the time he killed her till he reported her missing? Twelve? That was enough time to drive out to the boonies with the body, "hack" her up, and then drive for miles, distributing little pieces of her here and there for the coyotes and vultures to finish off.

I'm thinking the same thing. He "confesses", hoping the police call off their search of the dump and allow dumping to continue in the suspect area. Months down the road he recants, claiming he was under duress, meds, whatever and his >$$ lawyer spins it into a case of temp insanity.

Let's hope the cops are still looking for Lori.
